Character Sheet for Staphylococcus Aureus
Character Description
Although a member of Puppy Paws before, Staph didn't really get recognized until he co-ran The Monster Site with Mon. The Monster Site was the sister site of Puppy Paws and ran from 1996 to 2007 where new features in Puppy Paws, new management and a new community lead to it being more popular than The Monster Site and it run short of enough traffic to keep it going. Very much considered the soul of the two sites during its running, most of what Puppy Paws is today is derived from The Monster Site rather than Puppy Paws. Staph was popular simply for being the admin as they did little in the community outside of their admin job. A choice that Staph regrets now. Since they have continued to be a trend though a lot less often. However they still have their friends.
Personality
Calm and professional, they rarely get excited or enthusiastic about things. Not always deadly serious, they have a cheeky side. Often the voice of reason and organizer of events. Tolerates all kinds but can step their foot in it if they interfere in topics they don't understand. Secretly awesome when he wants to be, he often surprises others as he's normally quite nerdy. Rather knowledgeable on any subject especially the medical background, they took the persona of The Cookie Monster from The Muppets and fused it with the plush version of the virus Staphylococcus from Giant Microbes. They wanted a Streptococcus type but the similarity to The Cookie Monster sold it for them. Being a sentient virus, plushie and muppet all at once has lead to some interesting fan works i'll tell you. And much like The Cookie Monster, he has a sweet tooth.
Likes/Dislikes
likes sugary foods, having something to do, being part of a community and fan works of himself, dislikes very little as they are pretty easy going, missing out and being alone.
Relatives/Family
In real life he has no living parents but has both children and grand children. Also good friends with his brother's family. In his canon he's friends with various plushie microbes similar to himself and has a little sister based on MRSA despite not having a sister in real life.
World/Setting
has a real world setting often, that is except for the oddities of other people's canons which feature in works about him.
Body
thick blue fluff with slimy microbial insides and black eyes. Can grow and shrink at will and dissolve into organic life and live inside them as a virus. However the symptoms of the virus are more like the common cold than Staphylococcus.
Clothing
Accessories
can carry useful things inside his body. he dissolves them when put inside his body and then regenerates them when he removes them though often they are altered in the process. Can also carry items and not dissolve them and due to a temporal state can squish and stretch them with the changing shape of his body without damaging them. They also stay the same proportion to his size when he grows or shrinks.
