Michael Black (https://inkbunny.net/submissionview.php?id=1170561) is doomed to stalked by a monster (https://inkbunny.net/submissionview.php?id=1184559) in the form of a black mass that likes to kill Michael over and over as well as kill outright anyone else nearby. The creature can take many forms including blades, water, a cloud, a copy of Michael or its favorite form a small child that resembles Michael.

Michael has spent years trying to elude the monster and lure it away from other potential victims but it keeps finding its way back to him. The trouble started with Mike's ancestor in the 17th century, another Michael of the Black family and therefore had the same name. However not even he was sure why the monster was following him or wouldn't say and therefore nobody knows how to stop the creature or curse, what its weaknesses might be or what abilities it might posses that it has yet to use.
