I have made a DreamWidth account. It seems ancient LiveJournal decided to change its rules to make being LGBT a punishable offense. Through that diaspora I learned that DreamWidth existed, so good job LiveJournal.

Other features that drew me to DreamWidth include that unlike Facebook it shows you the full timeline not just the 'most popular' highlights.

Go to DreamWidth and set up an account:
https://www.dreamwidth.org/
Then you find the "Importer" which will ask for details about the account you want to import from.
Here is a FAQ:

There is an Importer tool:

It can take a day or three depending how big your LJ account (or other-than-LJ account) is.

Yes but as we have seen before, "encouraging" includes publicly saying you are LGBT, or mentioning the topic at all.
