Howdy.
The major reason I stopped posting here was that the other people I knew who came here, for the most part, gave up on it. I was just now looking through my watched-by section and it was filled with names I had not seen in years. The people I have known since then never came here to begin with.
As a consequence, there are rarely new submissions by others waiting for me, and when I check the front page, it is generally covered with things I would never choose to look at. And, generally, when I visit another person's page directly, if it is not totally empty, it is almost entirely covered with things that have been blocked based on, apparently, a mere two words I put on my filter list a long time ago.
And so: do you know of any reason I should not feel alone here, artistically? And is there anyone seeing this now that does not watch my account on some other website? I have so gosh darn many.
There have been about three occasions on which somebody talked to me briefly here and then completely disappeared, not to be found anywhere. Sometimes this feels like a witness protection setup.
