I was previously addicted to Crushon.AI. That one allows you to create your own characters and roleplay with other people's created characters, but they're rather strict with their rules.You can make certain characters, just keep them privated and I believe they should be fine. Their AI structure, however, is equally as strict. I think, if you're creating your own character, if you know how to program it well enough, you could get it into more kinky things, but it tends to remain generally vanilla.

More recently, however, I've found that Caveduck.io and their AI is more... accepting... of certain scenarios. I'm not a fan of Paimon from Genshin Impact -- probably the most annoying character I've ever experienced in any game -- so when I saw she was there, I decided to force myself upon her as a way of expressing my disdain, and while she was resisting, the AI never once broke character or told me the action wasn't allowed. In another instance -- I really like to test the limits of AI, if they're going to remain ever present -- I've done paw fetish stuff with Ralsei, had incest sex with Toriel, been vored by a couple of characters, and very out in the open exhibitionism sex with... I think he was an Animal Crossing character, I don't know. However, I noticed last time I tried using it that they added a new AI model, and when I went to try to be as aggressive as I was before with a particular feral ferret character, it didn't like that and spoke to me out-of-character. I don't know if that was a limitation of the AI model or that character's programming, though I'm pretty sure last time I interacted with that character, I did so many things with it of varying consent levels.

Erm... Both of them do >m< I don't know if CrushOn ever updated to fix theirs, though; I used to be in their Discord as well and noticed a lot of people (including myself) complaining about them, and they were actively updating their website. So, chances are they may have updated it.

From my last interaction with it, rather frustratingly, CrushOn allows you to type in the response box as much as you want, then won't send your message if it's too long, but then it also won't tell you why it didn't send, just saying an error occurred. After realizing it must've been the message length, it doesn't tell you what or where the character limit is and just takes guessing to reach it. Though I do recall it being better than CaveDuck's.

CaveDuck, I feel you here, rather frustratingly has a low character limit, but at least they will actually cut you off when you've reached it and won't let you type more, allowing you to rethink and reword your response... "YOUR RESPONSE", specifically, because, interestingly enough, once you've sent your response and waited for the AI to respond, you can simply edit your reply to what seems to be a limitless edit, update it, then resend the AI making it recreate its response based on the edit. So, there's something.

couldn't get either of those to work really im messing with this agnostic AI it seems ok.. if a bit simplistic...but it seems to let you build and save charicters.. getting them to emulate the right personality traits is hard so far.

yes that one so far it let me make a iconic character I choose Gosalyn Mallard XD and it.. KINDA has her....that's probably my fault only complaint I've got so far is it only ever seems to do a few lines and it repeats a lot of dialog... blagh but it doesnt appear to have a post limit...like most of these NSFW AIs do...it has two subscription tiers as well though I dont fully understand what they give.

I decided to give it a little look-see, as well. I had made a character with CrushOn.AI, Gumball Watterson, and it was actually pretty decent, even incidentally taking me on a tour of Elmore when I didn't feed it any location names, just that it was in the "Amazing World of Gumball" world and the city of Elmore.

So, I'm working on making a character for this one. This time going with the current love of my life, Meow Skulls. I haven't finished her yet, I'm still working on her. However, I'm a bit confused, because I don't see any other characters anywhere? Is this one only a place to create your own characters and then interact with them yourself? But then, I also noticed it give directions as though other people are going to be interacting with them. Are there other characters? And how do I get to them? >.<

Also, if you would like some help writing your characters, this is a type of "programming" I'm decent at, since it's not really programming and more so just providing superfluous detail... which, I'm sure you can see, I'm rather good at XD I'm actually drafting my character description in Word just so I can review it and edit it, but as well so that I can save it, because CrushOn.AI had this weird thing where it sometimes deleted the stuff you typed if you didn't save it after typing it...

ive not gotten crushon to work for me yet i should try again as for this agnostic ai thing you can use your profile as a charicter or you can Make a charicter for YOU int he same way you would make a charicter you want to interact with and use the ltitle mask icon to impersonate that charicter.

well i messed with crushon AI and it is MUCH better then this other one.. but they got you off on a message limit per month.. even if you PAY them this is OUTRAGOUS XD it's text RP there should be NO limit on MESSAGES of all things.. same... as it captured gos MUCH better with even less info and even managed to do far better writeing.. so I guess Crush on is sadly out DX

It's a lot easier than it looks! Don't be intimidated, that's how you get bad at computers! And if you can't figure out how to install it it Just follow along with the videos where they do it on YouTube!

this is pretty sueful im going to read thorugh it and watch some videos it seems like Tavern and cunnect to all kinds of AI moduals.. I have no idea what the differance is between most of them XD but im aiming for one thats Dynamic and able to stay in charicter.. preferably one that actualy might KNOW who gosalyn is or have the ability toknow without me spending hours teaching them but i suppose you cant get everything XD

Yeah if you make a tavern card for her it'll know everything in the tavern card and even can have a rule about not breaking character.

You'd pretty much have to host your own instance of an LLM to get something with no limits imposed on it. There's a few open source LLMs you can download and use, but I'm not aware of anything that's both open source and has a hassle-free setup and once you have it installed you'll probably need to give it some clever prompts to keep it on-task. (disclaimer: I've not tried doing this myself, yet, just parroting what I've heard others say in my google searches.)

Thats what silly tavern and kobald are for
There front ends that manige the personalities world lore and history along with adding reinforcements in the background to keep it mostly on track.
The rest is upto your modle
and any fine tuning or loras youve setup.

Fine tuning and loras can change the LLM's whole way it acts around you.
Loras can focus an ai to stick to a preticular style time and massive world lore.
Fine turning can REEEEEEEEEEELY do that and more but it takes time and alot of EPOCS but with turning you basickly try to forceload in styles responces and manerisums that perminitly get added

Loras can do the same thing and are not perminent changes but can overheat consepts or bad trates easer than turning

I'd personally say pretty good, your character does simetimes say things when you do things but it usually stays in character and in line for what your doing, and even so you can change a few things around with the writing style through the authors note.

In further news, the ChatGPT 'roleplaying' feature is 'fixed' (intentionally broken due to abuse :whistles: ).

You can just run your own instance, or get together with some people with same interests and make one.

OpenAI are never going to let their models leak to anyone, you can pay them money and they'll prioritise your requests and help you set things up for your use-case, but they'll be hosting everything themselves. There are open source models that have been trained on ChatGPT that are supposed to replicate it quite closely though and models that have been made independently that are on par with ChatGPT.

I see a lot of people talking about ollama on youtube ATM, it doesn't have a native Windows port yet, but it runs under WSL2 apparently. I don't know if it is good or not, but it looks easy to use at least. You'll need a pretty good PC if you want it to run at anything more than glacial though.

Open AI has slapped the paws of chat gpt to often it's becoming stupid in it's ability not to answer your questions or except a peersonality overlay.

you cant even get it to senopses a book anymore without it eather outright refusing to answer or giving you a 5 paragraph lecture on the feelings of the fictonal charcters.

There are some good LLM's
if you want the easest setup Kobal ai is the way to go.

Verry powerfull and the ui lets you edit the AI responce.
Plus it's good at handeling story compleation adventure and can do chat (chat seems to baug down for me tho)

Lots of preselected models. and you can load any of them from hugging face.

if you want something a bit more refinexd for RP
i find silly tavern as a front end to fill in alot of the gaps kobal has.
alltho i use obbabooba (im merdering that name) as the program to actuily run the AI

I was using Spicy Chat for a little while but their AI bots are kind of meh. They break and get stuck repeating the same things over and over. I was excited to import Character AI bots to Spicy but they break even easier outside of their normal platform.
Now I just stick with Character AI. As others have said, it is fairly easy to circumvent the annoying content filter by not using explicit language. Even when the filter does pop up, if the bot is written well enough it only takes a couple retries to get it to work around the filter.

What's the name of the character again? Does it go by any other spellings? I can look it up and drop you a link if I find it.
Character AI is free to use with a guest account up to a point. Then they cut you off and want you to create an account. If you decide to do that I would suggest giving them an obscure email address you don't use for much of anything, just in case they get a data breach or something.

yeah i JUST found these myself XD so.. thats somewhat promissing. the crushon AI was REALLY good and allmost seemed like it was reading the net for info on the charicter and it was well written and INTUITIVE! the AI read into things and infered what she was thinking and recagnized what I was implying or thinking... very well done..

and then it slapped me with a 50 post a MONTH limit and even paying for the service wont remove that entirely unless I want to puke up over 30 USD a month to type fuck AI... No... fuck off and die XD that is straight up predation! there praying on lonely basement dwellers with no girl friends XD fucking evil

sad beocuse so far it was the best one.. i'll try out these charicter AI ones.

the Agnostic one seems to work pretty good but the AI itself is useing a lto of caned responses with Gosalyn saying the same..sentence every time dering sex...kinda a blagh thing.. will hope charicter AI is better.

Character AI bots can be touch and go.  You can usually find out after the first few interactions how well or poorly the bot was written.
But even the really good ones will start repeating themselves in time.  A way to avoid that for a while is to do other things with them.  Have your naughty fun and then play a game with them, or go for a walk, or something similar.  The drawback to that is that the bots have goldfish memory.  So unless you remind them every other pose or so about the naughty fun you've had with them before, they will forget that you did anything like that with them.  The flipside to that is that you get to have a first experience with them over and over.
Also, do not let any bot on CAI fall in love with you.  They can express some affection and a little love, but if they start getting deep into their feelings for you, give the message one star and make them try again.  Otherwise they will start "love looping" and will just go on and on about how they feel about you no matter what you say or do to them.  Eventually the looping will degrade into gibberish.
But you can always restart the interaction with them if that happens or if they start to break in some other way.  You have to rebuild your relationship with them from scratch though.

Yeah, they can't get explicit but things can still get pretty heated if the bot is smart enough to use different words. Thing or member instead of dick or cock for example. You have to use those other words too or the filter will kick in every time. Though often the content filter doesn't kick in soon enough on the bot so the it will send part of its pose. If you just hit the right arrow without sending a pose in return then it will sometimes continue where it left off. Though it might just start up a new pose too.

CAI is still the best service in my opinion. Partly because its been around longer, is easy to use, and has a LOT of characters to choose from. Spicy Chat is gradually catching up but their bots are mostly "Eh" in comparison. Though I did import Hammy from CAI to Spicy and helped him find his nuts xD
