You can't delete the account, the system they have is too old for that, doing so would corrupt their whole forum database or something. (It says it in the FAQ)

I never really liked the site to be honest. I just diddent enjoy the format or the layout.

I used it WAY back when it was yiffstar and after the rebrand I just... lost most of my interest so this doesnt effect me directly but I am still really disapointed and upset by yet another place thats gone. All over fucking Doodles or WORDS on a digital page.

It's scary.

Well that sucks, but inevitable.
Not even the strongest firewalls and antivirus software are a match for or can filter the user stupidity that slips through, but if site mods wish to run their site how they please then it is not for me to judge. The site is more a username placeholder than anything, a secondary place to post at best... and post something to FA maybe once a year.

My advice is bring all of your stuff from SoFurry (SF) and Furaffanity (FA) 2 here just in case 4 those like me has fave watch & fave your stuff from SF & FA Sites which once u have done that u can then go & delete your SF & FA Accounts.

Or post them else where like FurryNetwork or Weasyl sites.

I only used the place as a place to host stories back when it was yiffstar. Figures it would eventually bend the knee. Glad Inkbunny isn't like that.

actually it wasnt so much 'bend the knee' but rather legal threats got involved... basically the owner of the website is in a place that allows extradition and was hit with a legal ultimatum of "remove all this from the website you own or we remove you from your country to our jail for 10 years"

I’m currently working on transferring all of my stories I posted under my Sofurry account. I’ve been a member since it was known as Yiffstar and quite sad to see it go the way of FA.... If Inkbunny goes the way of those two we’ll just have to up and move again which will be very unfortunate and annoying.

This gets even stupider since they seem to have no issue other questionable age tags like teenagers or highschooler. Even after the art ban 3 years ago there are still some shall we say not exactly ambiguously aged characters in some drawings. Oh and then there's the contentious situation of submissions not being tagged properly or completely that still fly under the radar of SF and fa...just ridiculous

I too find it disturbing that so many people can't distinguish reality from fantasy.

I'm increasingly of the opinion that the greater part of the human race is actually insane, and that most of society's problems could be solved if we could just get the general populace the anti-psychotic and anxiolytic drugs that they clearly need.

The most worrying thing is that this seems to be part of a more general assault on internet porn over the past few years. Remember when Tumblr banned adult content? And Patreon's increasing intolerance of it? And the creditcard companies cutting off Pornhub last december?

It seems like all the kinds of prudes and religious weirdos and "concerned parents" and church ladies and other worthless piles of shit that we used to have in the 1980's and 1990's have all come back out of the woodwork over the past few years. A strong stand needs to be made against them lest they come back for good.

Yiffstar was born from the wild west of the internet, with direct link to cubcentral and all
Sofurry is a calculated mainstream site, and seems to be jockeying for being FA 2.0
It was inevitable, tho Toumal kept the written cub content on for longer than I had imagined after the picture ban, the excuse is legalities in certain countries he visits.. Who am I to know if it's a lie? I'll take it at face value, cub content most certainly raises eyebrows many places, and dances the edge of legality in many places with obscenity laws or the like.
Have barely used it for the last 10 years anyways *shrugs*, still a sad footnote in its history for those who like cub content, and who has seen firsthand how once-favorite sites have changed over these last 15 years.

we live in very conformist times. increasingly so, as it tends to be tied to the economy and personal insecurity. groups and demographics feel like they have more to defend.
Opinions run harsher and more judgemental as the root cause of society's ills.
