August 5th, 1983 was my birthday, and, as I am getting on in years for people with some of my problems, I thought I'd take a look at myself today. All told, It's pretty good. I have made decisions th...
Eh, why not? I think I'll close out the year with one of these, since I neglected to in a long time. Go ahead, ask whatever you want, it can be about Chay Plays, Personal life, whatever, I don't mind...
Hey everybody! It's me Chay! I haven't posted much here since I got into working full time on my LP channel, but I wanted to let everybody know that we're doing another Halloween special this year, an...
Hello! My name is Chaytel Marseil Solverre. I am probably best known as the owner and host of Chay Plays, a 'Let's Play' website, but my primary passion has always been writing. I have been a writer for the better part of two decades now, and I mostly work in fanfiction and the like, although I'm branching out slowly. I first got into Sonic fanfic about eighteen years ago when my health problems began to limit my general lifestyle; I took to reading a lot and I found myself taking part in the fandom. I spent a lot of time reading the works of Dan Drazen, David Pistone, Ian Patterson, David Cale Kuecker, and the like, and I got into the actual writing at around the time they were sort of fading out. As a result, both I and my style are a bit of an odd bridge between the original generation of Sonic fic writers, and the more modern ones.
Feel free to contact me any way you please, although I prefer email or private messages here, as it allows me to take the time to better think out what I want to say. I have historically drawn little attention in my field, so all comments and criticisms are welcome, for better or worse. All of my current and future writing projects will always be free for everyone (in part because much of it will be fanfiction, but also because I want as many people to be able to enjoy my writing as possible). I have also been known to help people out with their own writing, so if you would like some sort of creative assistance or advice, feel free to send me a private message. I have a vast amount of teaching experience, and I will help if I can.
