Ninetails: The Demonic Unleashing
Chapter 1: Crisis In The City And A Rinky-Dink Relic
A cream colored fox was asleep on the porch of his home. "My name is Ninetails...I'm sixteen years old, and I'm a half fox and half kitsune..." The fox seemed restless as he slept. "For two years now, me and my brothers have been using all of our skills and powers to fight Docotor Robotnik's evil plotting." Ninetails was shuddering now. Something didn't feel right at all! "For all that time, I wondered....Sonic's destiny is to defeat Robotnik. Knuckles' destiny is to gaurd the Master Emerald...Everyone has a destiny in the world...but I hadn't truly found my role in the grand scheme of things..." Ninetails shuddered very hardly, as if he were in a nightmare.
"That was about to change."
Ninetails eyes flashed open as he jumped up out of his sleep. "WHAT THE!?" Ninetails looked off to the skyline of Central City and saw smoke billowing out from everywhere.
"Right NOW."

Ninetails ran into his house and up to his room when his phone rang. "Hello!? Yeah, I saw it too!...I don't know what's going on, but Eggman's sure to be behind it!"
Ninetails grabbed his backpack and packed it with first aid supplies, food and a handfull of rings. He then slung it on his back and grabbed the airboard he had leaning on the wall of his room. "I'll meet you on Mission Street. Bye." Ninetails hung up his phone and checked his board over. "Alright, ready to go!!"
Ninetails started to head out, but something stopped him. "Hmm?" He felt something he had never felt before. It was a completely alien feeling, but still vaugely familliar to him. "What..." Ninetails looked over to his desk and leaning against it was a sheathed katana. It was a flimsey, rusty old sword that was a souvinire his sister got him from Chun-Nan. "The sword..."
Ninetails couldn't tell what was pushing him, but he slowly inched closer to the sheathed sword. "Hmm..." Ninetails picked up the sword and unsheathed it. It's blade was dull and full of nicks. He doubted it could evne cut through butter if he heated it up. "I wonder...." Still though, the sword felt nice in his hands. As if it were an old friend.
"HEY NINETAILS!" Ninetails' brother Roovie ran past his room. "HURRY UP! IT'S TOTAL PANDAMONIUM IN THE CITY!"
Snapped out of his trance, Ninetails nodded. "Er-right!" Ninetails gave the sword one last look.

Meanwhile in the streets in front of the Kabuki Zone comic shop, Kyzuka and Kyzuya were fighting off the enemies that were destroying the city.
"What the heck are these!?" Kyzuya punched one of the creatures. They came in different shapes and sizes. Some looke like small orgres, some looked like flying sea serpents and some were just eyeballs with wings or something equally as sureal.
"These things look like they just came off the set of Inuyasha!" Kyzuka grabbed a creature by the tail and tossed it into some others. "Got 'em!" Kyzuka was about to move on to others when the ones he defeated got back up."What the hell? They keep coming back!"
The creatures quickly surrounded them. "Well bro, what now!?"
"Dammit..." Kyzuka growled as the creatues came closer.
"Kyzuka!" From down the street, a green blur shot into the fray, slamming into the monsters like a lightspeed pinball.
"About time you showed up!" Kyzuka wiped sweat from his brow and sighed, relived.
"Like I'd let my badass boss have all the fun." Roovie slapped Kyzuka on the arm, blushing a bit. "You did some nice work of protecting the shop so far."
"Not exactly. I don't know what these are, but they don't go down." Kyzuka looked on as the monsters all got to their feet.
Meanwhile Ninetails was fighting off the monsters unsuccessfully. "Dang, these things won't stay down!" Ninetails lit his hands on fire and began tossing out fireballs. "How about I heat things up then!?" As Ninetails burned the varyous monsters, the feeling he felt before creeped back into him.
"What the..." Ninetails looked around at the monsters. "I...can see....what am I looking at?" Ninetails could see a force spilling out from the monsters, like an aura. The aura spread over to him and he felt something inside him pulse. "This feeling..." Ninetails looked down at the sword. "No, that's stupid..."
Ninetails unsheathed the sword again, looking at the blade. It was the same rusty sword, but something was diferent. It was as if the blade was silently begging. "Should I?" Ninetails looked up from the sword and a monster was dashing twoards him to attack. "Here goes nothing!" Ninetails dashed forward and swung the sword foreward.
The blade landed with a solid THWUMP and the monster fell, a decent sized dent in it's front. "It didn't even cut! Is this thing really that du-" Ninetails cut himself off as he looked back to where the demon fell. It had disintegrated! The only trace left were bones and a ratty loincloth, both of which disintegrated into dust as well. "It's gone!" Ninetails watched as the dust flowed off on the breeze. "Was is the sword?" Ninetails looked down at the sword. It was just a rusty old blade..but only a blow from the sword was enough to beat back the monster.
He could see the dark aura from the monster linger on and then dissipate. And then, very slightly, the dark brooding feeling he had lightened. "It WAS the sword...." Ninetails gained a sly smirk. "It can't cut worth a damn, but I won't mess with success!"
Roovie, Kyzuka and Kyzuya were busy fighting off the monsters when Roovie saw Ninetails coming, dashing through hoards of monsters and smacking each with the sword. "What the heck is he doing!?"
Ninetails quickly joined the three. "Roovie, I think I got somethig here!"
"What you have is that souvinire sis got you. Can that thing even cut?" Roovie punched, sweeped and Homing Attacked all the different monsters.
"Trust me, I have a plan!" Ninetails braced himself. "All I need you guys to do is to incapacitate the mooks, and then let me get the finishing blow with this!" Ninetails held out his sword.
"That's an antique!" Kyzuka looked at the sword closely. "I don't think that'll even stand up to battle."
"Would you stop ragging on the sword, get that fat ass in gear and beat up some demons!?" Ninetails gasped at what he just said. "Wait...What did I just say?"
"You just called my ass fat." Kyzuka grabbed his butt. "I've been trying to cut back on the pocky...I guess it's not doing anything."
"Don't listen to him boss." Roovie patted Kyzuka on the shoulder, blushing brightly. "You have a nice ass."
"No, not that!" Ninetails shook his head. "I called these things...demons..."
"Demons? You mean like hellspawn?" Roovie thought it over.
"No, don't you see?" Kyzuka nodded knowingly. "He means like Yokai! Otherworldy spirit monsters! I knew these looked familliar!" Kyzuka punched one of the demons and tosed it into another group. "They're spoken of in japanese folklore. Supernatural spirits who take a corperal form. Some of them are just like animals and some of them have sentience."
"That's right!" Ninetails nodded exictedly. "Let's slay some demons!" Ninetails smiled sheepishly, scratching behind his head. "And I'm sorry for yelling at you. Your ass is perfectly fine."
"Come on, let's do this!" Kyzuya grabbbed a serpent demon and slammed it into the ground.
"Right!" Ninetails swung down on the demon, destroying it.
"Woah, it really does work!" Kyzuka saw the demon desintegrate after a blow from the sword. "Well then have some more!" Kyzuka took on an ogre demon, punching it twice in the jaw and finishing up with a suplex. "TERIAH!"
"Woah! How the hell can he do that!?" Roovie marvaled at Kyzuka's strenght, watching closely as his muscles bulged and veined up as he fought. "Impressive!"
"Hehe, not as impressive as this." Ninetails had a goofy smirk on his face as he looked closely at the demon Kyzuka just suplexed. "Hehehe, this guy isn't wearing any underwear under that loincloth."
"Just kill the thing you pervert." Roovie smacked Ninetails across the back of the head.
"Ow! Alright, alright..." Ninetails shrugged. "Such a shame though..." Ninetails raised his sword above his head. "Sorry dude...I'll try not to hit the balls." With that, he slammed the sword down on the demon, instantly grimmacing. "Ooh, I DID hit the balls..."
The demon disintegrated and Kyzuka did a backhand spring onto his feet. "Phew, that thing REEKED!" Kyzuka brushed himself off. "Like a forest of unwashed taint."
"GYRAAAAH!" A serpent demon came soaring down from the sky.
"AAH!" Ninetails was taken by surpise and fell back.
"Shit!" Roovie braced himself.
The demon bared down on them, but right before it attacked, it was frozen in mid-air.
"Hmph, leave it to you guys to let the whole city go to shit." A voice said from up above. The frozen demon was then covered in a psychic glow and tossed hard onto the ground, shattering it. "You guys are lucky I was just getting back." Apolycolelipse landed in front of the group with Barin landing beside him.
"Nice to see you guys again." Barin waved happily. "Looks like you're enjoying the party."
Ninetails looked at all the chunks of demon that lay on the ground and noted that they were wiggleing. "Are you serious? This thing is STILL alive!"
"Oh great." Roovie rolled his eyes. "So now we got to smack ALL these little giblets? Nice going Apoly!"
"No..." Ninetails had the feeling again. "We don't.....look for the origin, where the other peices converge...." Ninetails scanned the pile of demon-bits. "It's the only peice that has a demonic aura..."
"Demonic aura?" Roovie cocked an eyebrow. "I don't see any auras..."
"Hmm...Maybe Ninetails being a kitsune is helping him to see." Kyzuka looked on as Ninetails slowly looked over the bits. "Kitsunes are demons, too."
"Aha!" Ninetails finally came across the demon's head, exudeing an aura. "And down you go." Ninetails bonked the head with his sword and all of the peices disintegrated like the others. "I think that was the last one. I don't feel anymore demonic auras..."
"Oh trust me you annoying fox, it's FAR from the last!" A voice called out from above.
"Doctor Eggman!?" Ninetails spotted the evil scientist up above. "Sheesh, why won't you just sit down and read a book for once!?"
"I did. It was delightfull." Eggman smirked evily. "And it taught me of a grand, untapped power in this world!"
Ninetails felt something in his heart jump. "You aren't taking about Yokai energey, are you!?"
"Yes I am you preceptive dog." Eggman's smirk grew wider. "Nearly every demi-god in this word is a Yokai, I've come to learn. And they all share a similar power signiture." Eggman's smirk turned into a sneer. "And I have learned how to tap into that raw power to amass an unlimited army of demons!"
"You're still turning to the supernatural to do your dirtywork? Don't you ever learn?" A blue blur sped in joining the party.
"Well if it isn't the blue wonder himself. I wasn't expecting you to show up until after I ransacked the city." Eggman's smirk was gone.
"Come on Robotonik, you know I'm always early to every party!" Sonic stood proudly, giving Eggman a cocky smirk.
"Well try as you might, you aren't going to crash this one! These demons are INVINCIBLE! No matter how hard you hit them, they keep coming back!" Eggman gloated hammily.
"If you hadn't noticed, I've destroyed every last demon you've deployed myself!" Ninetails gained a cocky smirk. "So why don't we play spin the bottle and you can kiss my ass!"
"Dude." Sonic gave Ninetails a deadpan look. "Did you really have to go there?"
"You two took all the other party jokes." Ninetails shrugged.
"I'm going to have shoved that bottle were the sun can't shine by the time I'm done with you!" Eggman became flustered.
"I like the sound of that!" Ninetails smirked at Eggman, deflecting the joke back at him.
".....Not the response I was looking for." Eggman scratched behind his head, confused. "No matter." He began furiously typing on a command console. "I have a far stronger demon who I'm sure would LOVE to go on anal adventures with you, you little pervert!"
"Gaah, now you got Eggman doing it!" Sonic facepalmed.
"I'll just destroy it like I destroyed the others!" Ninetails unsheathed his sword. "...wait..." Ninetails noticed his sloppy stance. "I...Think I'm supposed to hold it this way..." Ninetails shifted his weight and changed his grip on the sword, giving him a much more confident stance. "THERE we go! I hope you're ready for a hard, invasive licking Robutthead!"
"....Okay, "Robutthead" was pretty funny." Sonic joined Ninetails, ready to fight as well. "Let's party!"
"Fine then, if you wish!" A dark portal appeared above Eggman.
"GYAAAH!" Ninetails jumped back in fear. "What the HELL IS THAT THING!?" Ninetails' fur stood on end. "That demonic power is ENORMOUS!"
"This is only taste of my power you little fox." Eggman gloated. "Merely a bead of sweat on the tip of my glorious-"
"You aren't going there!" Sonic cut him off. "I can't let you go there."
"Aww, this the most fun I've had all day." Ninetails shrugged.
"I'm only pandering to this pervert as a final farewell before I DESTROY HIM!"
"But not kill him." Roovie noted. "Killing him would boost the rating up to E-10."
"Roovie, I don't think we have to worry about that." Sonic shrugged. "All this inuendo probably boosted us up to T."
"Enough fooling around!" Eggman pressed a button and a giant ogre demon fell out of the portal. The ogre was at least 20 ft. tall, weilded a spiked club and he was very menacing. "DESTROY THOSE IMPUTENT FOOLS!" Eggman made his escape. "I shall see you on the flip side, farwell!"
"EGGMAN!" Sonic growled. "Shoot, he got away!" Sonic looked up at the giant angry demon. "Now what?"
"Now we send this trash back to the neitherealm!" Ninetails ran forward. "HEYAH!" Ninetails swung his blade forward as he jumped at the demon.
"RAAAH!" The demon slammed down on Ninetails with his club and the two clashed.
"Grr, a stalemate!" Ninetails tried his best to push his sword forward, but the ogre's brute strength was too much for him. "A little help please!?"
"I got it!" Sonic smirked at Roovie. "How about a Double Spinball Special!?"
Roovie joined sonic. "I'm down for it!"
Sonic curled into a ball and spun on the spot, charging up power. "Ready..."
Roovie got into a braced position. "Ready!"
"GO!" Sonic shot off at blinding speed. "LIGHTSPEED ATTACK!" Sonic spun around the demon with a flurry of hits, knocking the ogre off balance.
"HOMING SMASH!" Roovie jumped into the air, spinning in place for a few moments, charging up power. "ATTACK!" Roovie exploded off in a powerful Homing Attack aimed at the demon's legs, tripping it.
"AHA!" Ninetails used the opening to use his sword to knock the club out of the ogre's hand. "GOT YA!" The demon fell back and Ninetails landed in front of it, immediately gaining the same goofy smirk he had earlier. "Hahaha! Not to scale!" Ninetails pulled out his phone and started snapping pictures. "It's still pretty big, though.
"Ninetails!" Roovie's eye twitched with annoyance.
"What? Even if it isn't to scale, it's still the biggest one I've ever seen!" Ninetails got in close to snap more pictures. "I want to remember this moment.
"WOULD YOU JUST DESTROY THE THING!?" Roovie and Sonic screamed in uniosn.
"Oh fine..." Ninetails looked through the pictures. "I filled up the SD card anyway." Before Ninetails continued on, he adjusted the ogre's loincloth to cover him up. "Let's keep this a secret between you and me big guy." Ninetails jumped onto the demon's chest. "Prepare to travel to the other side!" With a mighty swing, Ninetails slashed the demon in the chest. "Haha!...what the..."
Ninetails was caught off gaurd by the gush of blood that splattered onto his feet. "Blood? But this thing can't-" Ninetails looked down and saw a gaping slash wound in the demon's chest. "It...it did cut?" Ninetails looked down at his blade, that was also covered in blood. "It can't be..." Ninetails gave the blade a firm swing to clear the blood off and he inspected it. The blade seemed different. There were fewer nicks, the rust was almost gone and most importantly, it had an edge. "...What's up with this thing?"
Ninetails felt the demon underneath him rumble. "What the..." Without warning, the demon grabbed him by the leg and sprang back to his feet. "CRAP!"
"You slashed my belly, young fox!" The demon spoke. His voice was deep and demonic. "Such imputence must be PUNISHED SEVERELY!"
"Ooh, what did you have in mind?" Ninetails smirked. "I've seen enough anime to know where this is going.
"Oh please." the demon rolled his eyes. "I was still consious while you were inspecting me, you little hellhound. I know nothing would please you more then being punished in that way, you filthey harlet."
Ninetails growled. "Watch your mouth!"
"I think bashing your skull against the concrete is a much more suitable punishment for a perverted little cub like you, don't you?"
"How dare you treat me so disrespectfuly?" Ninetails' heart burned. "You should be at my feet groveling for mercy!" Ninetails' body moved without him. "You know not who your trifleing with!" With a swift motion, Ninetails slashed at the Demon's hand, slicing off his fingers.
"GRAAH! MY HAND!" The demon held his hand. "Why you little-erk..." A cream flash shot past the demon. "W...what the..."
Ninetails landed before the demon. "You WILL show me respect or you will die." Ninetails swung his blade clean of blood once more and slipped it into the sheath. "And down you..." Ninetails sheathed his blade with a loud clang. "GO!" With that, a massive gash split the demon in two.
"You.....You little...." The demon fell backwards. " YOU MONSTER!" The demon landed in a pool of his own blood. "To strike me down with such ease...you were toying with me, weren't you?"
Ninetails smirked. "Consider that your final judgement!" Ninetails entire body burned with a new force that he'd not felt before. "Such a shame it didn't work out for you. I'm sure we could have had lots of fun. But that's the price of being evil!"
"Such cockiness...such pride...A mind that is both perverted and driven by justice...You remind me of-" The demon then noticed the sword Ninetails had. "THAT SWORD! I RECOGNIZE IT! Could you be....." Before the ogre could finish, he disintegrated like the other demons.
"Woah...." Sonic was amazed. "Could he always do that with a sword?"
"I...I have no idea..." Roovie shrugged. "This is the first I'm seeing of this, and I used to be a part of him!"
Ninetails stared down at his sheathed sword. "He recognized the sword?....And he was about to call me something....there's more to this then meets the eye...." Ninetails thought deeply. "I'll have to figure this out and fast....but in the mean time..." Ninetails smirked evily, looking at his phone. "That ogre was huge, hahaha! I'm sure they'll appreciate these shots on the Bara Blogs!"
"Ninetails!" Roovie joined Ninetails. "What was that!? You were INCREDIBLE! You even got that old sword to cut something!"
"It was nothing." Ninetails smiled widely, blushing a bit. "Just a little slash here and a pickup line there..."
"Were you able to get anything out of the demon about Eggman?" Sonic joined them.
"Unfortunately no. Only more questions..." Ninetails looked down at his blade again. "But it turns out I can sense demonic auras. So if we follow the aura..."
"It'll lead us right to Robotnik!" Roovie nodded. "Do you sense anything?"
"Not right now..." Ninetails focused hard. "Nothing within the city anyway..."
"We should probably head to Tails' place. He has more advanced Eggman tracking stuff." Sonic nodded.
"We'll stay here and help clean up." Apolycolelipse noded.
"Oh...okay..." Roovie nodded, stepping over to Kyzuka. "Kyzuka....I don't know how to tell you this..." Roovie blushed a bit. "I'm....going to have to miss my shift today."
Kyzuka smacked Roovie on the back. "HAHA! Roovie, that's alright. I don't think anyone'll be in the mood for comics today anyway." Kyzuka scooped Roovie up in a hug. "Just make sure you come back in one peice, okay?"
"Okay Kyzuka." Roovie blushed even more, hugging Kyzuka back before rejoining Ninetails and Sonic, who were already leaving. "See you later Kyzuka!"
"I mean it Roovie!" Kyzuka smiled as he watched Roovie run off. "YOU'D BETTER NOT GET HURT OR I'M DOCKING YOUR PAY! I'LL BE RIGHT HERE TO GREET YOU WHEN YOU GET BACK!"
Roovie joined Ninetails and Sonic, blushing. "Hehe, let's go!"
"That's a nice buddy you got there." Sonic nodded. "I saw him fighting earlier, he really holds his own."
"That's Kyzuka." Roovie smiled widely. "He's the greatest boss in the world!"
"I wish I had a boyfriend who saw me off to adventure..." Ninetails rolled his eyes as he pulled out his board, jumping on.
"Erk!" Roovie blushed even more. "He's NOT my boyfriend!"
"Hurry up!" Sonic and Ninetails had already gotten far ahead of him. "Me and Sonic will leave you behind!"
"Oh...Right..." Roovie ran off to join them.
