Pic2, 9/12/2012: I started painting this lovely thing! Upped the res to 6,000x4something and started painting it in SAI by mashing all the character layers together. I really love how this is turning out. Hope to sell it as a poster! ^_^
Pic3, 9/16/2012: Did a lil more clean up around the tummy and face. Also redoing the headphones or trying to anyway. Redid the ears and integrated them way better with the head.
Pic4, 8/31/2014: Yeah...I'd like to give a big 'fuck you' to my 2013/2014 art gap by getting back to some fun paintings again. Here's the puppy that everyone loves ^^ I wanted to see more of him, so I've started to paint his other arm there. Also figured out that pesky headband and gave him a walkman to make his pants sag ^_^ I actually want to paint his lower half too, but might have to use photoshop for that or split it up or something. The PSD file is 8500x7362 for crying out loud! And yes, I still want to see this as a poster too :)
Pic5, 9/1/2014: Fiddled around with this some more. Gave him an 80s walkman, the big bulky sports one! Also whipped up a quick background and sketched out his lower half. I wanted him to live in a junkyard hehe, but I'm not too sure this one's working just yet. The feeling is about right but the oranges and greens clash with the blues, purples, and reds of the pup. I might draw something better for the BG later and color it to work with the pup better.
