Deep in the woods, one may find a plethora of beauties. Be it the serine atmosphere of bird song or the sun peering through the tree's engulfing foliage, or the trickling of a stream. Then there was Swift the wolf, prowling the woods as always for the next thing to eat. Though chubby as he was, there wasn't much of anything around to truly satiate his hunger. The occasional squirrel or vole was a nice touch, chasing after them was a different story. Of course he could've used his wits (which he had plenty of) to make his prey come to him, today he wasn't in the best of moods to bother.

Currently while trotting through the forest, the wolf snacked on a berry bush, disgruntled at the lack of sustenance an entire forest provided for a wolf of his stature. "Ridiculous. Since when am I demoted to snacking on berries. It seems bears have all the luck, what with catching fish or raiding picnics. It's no wonder they get as full as they need to, while I'm still starving."

Admittedly, Swift could procure these same goods if he wanted, but today was one of those lazy days where he'd rather not work for his food. "Live off the fat of the land, what a joke. Live off the skin and bones is more like it. I'm the alpha wolf around these parts. Where's my special treatment?"

As he was about to chomp down on a few more berries, a sudden series of grunting, groaning, and odd bubbling erupted from the distance. Curious as it continued, Swift left his berries to investigate the sounds. As they grew louder, a voice soon accompanied them, complaining as if he were carrying a heavy load. Once Swift found the source, he could certainly see why it sounded as such. Before him struggling to crawl on the floor was the fattest rat he had ever seen. All his limbs and tail were mere appendages of his colossal stomach, which was at least as big around as a basket ball. Licking his lips, the wolfs attitude slightly improved as he walked up to the bloated rat and stepped on his tail. Then flipping him over on his back, Swift chuckled as he could barely see the rat's face past his engulfing mass. Squeaking in fright the rat trembled, his stomach undulating about like a rock being tossed into a pond.

"Good day to you my pleasantly plump friend. My name is Swift, and might I say your exceptionally rotund form interests me greatly."

"P-p-p-please, don't eat me."

Taking some pleasure at his dismay, Swift grinned. "Now you know how things work. I'm the predator, you're the prey. You eat food to stay alive, and I eat you to stay alive. But today is an exceptionally special day, and do you know why my tubby friend?"

The rat gulped, "W-w-why?"

"Because today, I met you. Normally, the sight of a rat as big…and plump…juicy…thick," at the mention of these adjectives Swift's mouth began to salivate, which only made the rat tremble further. Shaking off the urge to eat him however, the wolf cleared his throat and continued.

"Well, you get the point, you would make a marvelous meal. But, the most peculiar thing about you is your scent. It smells…human. So, here's my proposal fat rat. Direct me to this place which has given you such a tantalizing girth, and in return, I will not kill you."

Not wasting a second, the rat spilled the beans so quickly Swift told him to slow down. Receiving his information, the wolf then traveled to the end of the forest, until he reached the destination. Beyond the trees and shrubs was a winding road, and following the road he found that it snaked its way to a land of tall buildings, lots of noise, and plenty of movement.

"The city," he said dryly, "well what do you know."

The wolf never cared to travel into the noisy-obnoxious territory of humans, though the curiosity did often strike him as to how and where the humans received their ample amounts of food. Now witnessing the rat's largeness and considering his testimony, perhaps there was something to look forward to in the domain of humans after all.

Rather eager to find out what possible treasures the city may hold, he moved at a trot; his plump stomach bouncing and gurgling along the way. The thought of the city being a goldmine of food was already too good to be true in Swift's mind, and if it was he could always just eat the rat. For a wolf, not finding a rodent that large with a stench colored in people, food, and filth, would be quite the embarrassment.

- - - - -

His trot decreasing to a walk, Swift passed by many a car following the road until he finally entered the city. As he felt before, the city was a complete contrast of the forest. Loud, obnoxious, and agitating. Cars incessantly honked their horns, people shouted at one another, and random noises from tools, stereos, televisions, and people doing activities made Swift want to claw the face off the nearest living thing he saw, which was everything. Speaking of which, as he walked down the sidewalks, little to no people paid any attention to him, as if he were another stray dog roaming around. They seemed a bit busy anyway, occupied with their phones or in a hurry to get someplace. He was grateful for that much. Being berated by the constant oos and ahs of his greatness could've been the straw that broke the camels back in this environment.

Following his nose, he was soon able to smell a plethora of goodies which tempted him to salivate. Increasing his pace the closer he got to the delightful smells, he was soon happy to find himself face to face with a blessing he had never encountered before. The food in question were hotdogs, that much he knew. Having pinched a couple back at the forest as he slithered his way into a few family picnics. The cart in which these hotdogs were supplied however was new. Rather large with a tanned skinned, grizzly bearded, cap and dirty apron wearing man standing behind concocting mouth watering delicacies which caused Swift's stomach to grumble.

"Hot dogs, get yer hotdogs here, best in the city."

Reeled in by its juicy aroma, Swift stood on his hind legs, used the cart for support and practically salivated over the roasting franks.

Smack! "Get outta here ya mutt!"

Bopped in the nose with a roll of newspaper, Swift had the mighty urge to growl and bite back in retaliation, but realizing what was at stake, he summoned the patience to calm down. "Patience Swift, this will require tactics. He's just a stupid human after all."

Sitting patiently pondering, he glared at the vendor with great animosity. No one gets in the way of an alpha wolf and his meal. Perhaps he could pretend to be somebody's pet as they walked by? Then he'd harass the vendor and his pretend owner would take the blame for it. In the midst of the ongoing harangue, he'd slip in, nab that positively large and provocative bag of dogs under the opened cart, and slip off into the city. He was quite strong, and could certainly pull it with ease. Not to mention the vendor was in no better shape than he was, so outrunning him wouldn't be trouble. Still though, this would take more calculation to pull off. Certainly nothing a genius like him, Swift, both quick in wits and in the gluttonous arts, couldn't pull-."

"Hey! Stop, what do ya think yer doing?"

Snapped out of his train of thought, Swift looked in the direction the vendor shouted at. A large truck with cables connecting to a car lifted the vehicle off the ground and carried it. Walking over to the other man responsible, the vendor shouted about wildly, but  most importantly he left his cart unguarded. Looking to the bag of hotdogs, Swift thanked his lucky stars.

"Well, how convenient," quickly, Swift dashed over, grabbed the sack in his jowls, and dragged it into a nearby alley. Though the buns and condiments would've been a nice touch to chow down on, the franks were what really interested him. The bag being heavier than he anticipated caused him to salivate more. The anxiety to gorge on this large bag flowed through his veins like fish in a river.

After side winding through a couple more alleyways, he came across a large garbage bin. "Oh, this'll do just nicely."

Popping open the top with a paw, he hurled the bag within the trash (skillfully able to toss it in without sending franks flying everywhere) and hopped in himself; grunting as he struggled to pull his chubby body in. Falling inside, he looked to see the coast was clear, then closed the hood. Along with his franks, he smelled other tasty scents, one of which being a half eaten cheese burger, which he popped into his mouth effortlessly. Suddenly, his taste buds were sent into a frenzy, as the single most greatest snack he had tasted traversed his throat and found a home in his plump stomach.

"Mmm, I know how good human food was but that was delicious." Reminded of what he crawled into a trash can for, he pulled his bag of franks over. Fondling it lovingly, he barely realized how big it actually was. About as wide and lengthy as him, perhaps a bit bigger. Just imagining how filling this meal would be along with satisfying caused his tail to wag. "Oh Swift, you dog you. Today, begins the happiest day of your life."

With that, he thrust the bag open, exposing the treasure trove of franks. Not wasting any time he shoved his face inside. Biting and munching at all he could fit into his mouth. He seemed to swallow faster than he could chew, which caused his stomach to round out considerably faster. Blithely grunting as multiple franks were swallowed at a time his stomach gurgled with thanks. Lifting the bag and placing it on his growing belly, it slightly squelched at the weight of it. Slowly however, the bag's weight decreased. Though the wolf ravenously gorged like he never gorged before, there certainly were a lot of franks to deal with. Until of course, there finally wasn't.

An hour passed, and after the franks were finished, Swift chowed down on what burgers, fries, and leftover milkshakes his bloated body didn't crush. Speaking of which, boy was he bloated. The bag being as big as him (perhaps bigger)grew his stomach to twice its normal size. Though not as fat as he was hungry, the motivation to gorge further was certainly there. Now having tasted more human food then he ever had, it was a craving he lusted after.

Whining and groaning, his tail wagged at the sheer amount of bliss he experienced. Never did he think he'd experience heaven within a trash bin, but he was certainly happy he did. Rubbing and kneading his bubbling belly, Swift released a sigh of relief. "Oooh, that was great. The rat was right. The city really is a place where a wolf can glut." Smacking his gut, he chuckled as it sloshed and bounced about. Pressing his paws against the soft pudge, he grinned. "There's still plenty of room in their for a second course, especially in this bountiful place. Well, time for round two." Opening the lid of the trash, Swift realized just how much weight he had gained upon trying to get out. Groaning as his stomach weighed him down, he merely plopped onto the floor, his belly releasing a loud squelch. Smelling the various aromas filling the air, he licked his lips and went into the night. His belly sloshing and swaying to and fro as he moved at a trot.

Under the cover of night, Swift didn't have to deal with any shocked faces as he slipped through alleyways and ravaged the dumpsters of restaurants. Indulging in a variety of foods from the classic burgers, to pasta and chicken, to tacos and burritos and even Chinese food. Everything he was able to find (and he found plenty of it) was mirthfully wolfed down into his barrel of a belly. Enjoying each new mouthful, he could feel his belly expanding that much further from the inside, continuously bloating it as it gurgled for further over feeding.

Finishing his latest meal, he tossed the trash can aside; falling backward and sprawling out over the floor. Letting out a thunderous belch, the wolf felt his stomach give a little. Now three times rounder than when he began, his curiosity of how a bear felt during hibernation was quelled. Smacking at his drum of a bubbling belly, he grinned at how it sloshed about. The weight of his gorge holding him down made him too lazy to move. So he remained on the floor, paws relaxed atop of his mountainous gut and legs spread out as his belly sought to overtake his body.

"Oooh, this is terrific. I never thought I'd have a belly this big. After digesting everything I'd probably have enough fat to last me three winters."

Belly growling in agreement, a sudden sound caught Swift's attention. Looking above him, a hand propped a window open from inside the building. A sudden flood of mouth watering smells passed through his muzzle as he sniffed the air. It was all sorts of meats, rare and fresh. Though he had his share of cooked meat that day, returning to a clean version of what he was used to didn't sound like too bad of an idea, so long as he was able to continuingly stuff his stomach with gluttonous passion. Rolling over onto his over gorged gut, he set his quickly devised plan into motion.

Going to one end of the alley, he wrapped some string around a trash can, waddled back to the door entrance and hid behind a mountain of trash he had assembled. "The things I do to eat." Picking up a rock with his forepaw, he bounced it to test its weight, then flung it an unopened shop window; creating a nasty hole.

"What the hell!"

Busting the door open, a skinny clerk stormed out looking left and right with the most angry look imaginable. "Who the hell did that!"

Tugging on the string, the trash can across the alley fell over. As he had planned, the clerk dashed in said direction, leaving the door open and its treasures of meat exposed to a very voracious wolf. As quick as his ever shrinking paws would take him, he waddled into the room. Looking for a place to hide, he chose to be wedged between a mop bucket and broom within a janitor's closet.

"Tony, Tony are ya there?"

Hearing panting coming from inside the room, the door Swift entered through shut. "Yeah, some…stupid kids…broke a window. Found the rock they used too."

"Well don't touch it, we'll call the cops tomorrow and they'll run prints on it. We're locking up, so come on, or we'll miss the game."

Following the other voice's orders, the back door clicked as it was locked, followed by a second door. Waiting a few minutes, Swift perked up his ears with not a sound heard coming from inside the building. Opening the door to check the coast was clear, he was met with silence, darkness, and an entire room filled with meat. The heavenly sight was too much to hold himself back. Licking his lips, he truly let himself go.

Starting first with the chicken, he stripped the flesh from the bone all to easily. Ravenously finishing the boxes filled with packaged chicken, he moved onto the boneless ones. Opening his maw wide, he plopped slab after slab of meat down  his gullet; his ears picking up the sickening splats they made as it reached the bottom of his stomach. Amidst the chorus of sloshing and gurgling, Swift's hunger craze only increased with every sensational inch added to his belly. So much he felt he wasn't eating quick enough.

Changing his habits, he stuffed his face into the box, no longer eating one juicy piece of chicken at a time but cramming all he could in his mouth at once. Cheeks bursting with a massive mound of meat, he forced it all down in one huge gulp. A sharp pain ran through his neck as it stretched, but was short lived as it landed with a thud into his stomach. The sudden impact caused him to fall backwards into a rack of ribs. Looking at his belly, he couldn't help but pat it with a paw. It must've grown out five inches wider from that last mouthful. Enough for him to even be able to nuzzle it. Excited by the transformation, he continued with the other foods he had yet to gorge upon. Ribs, steaks, bacon, patties, sausage links, grounded meat, and all manor of a carnivore's feast was blithely wolf down without hesitation. Even the goods in front of the store met no mercy as Swift wobbled through the door and down the isles (the door locks thankfully being on his side of the room. Other than the obvious meats (and some fish) for sale, there were also plenty of snacks and beverages which he wasted no time in finishing. Munching bags of chips, quaffing down liters of sodas and cans of tea, his massively swollen belly continued to expand. Each slight turn or laborious step sent sloshing ripples through his white furred gut, which began to overtaking his body with each new pound added.

After a few hours, Swift returned to the meat room, eating up what he had left behind in his gluttonous search for more food throughout the building. Bringing with him a few bags of chips and a liter of coke, he plopped to the floor, his back resting against the wall. Food drunk beyond his own comprehension, Swift had grown so incredibly obese that he couldn't see the wall in front of him. Rather woozy with a sloppy grin slapped across his face, his eyes didn't leave the sight of his intensely bloated, bubbling, corpulent tub of indigested gorge that was his stomach. He could feel the sea of white fur rolling over his own footpaws for every minute that would pass, as well as which foods were being distributed to which parts of his body. Much of it must've been transferred into his bosom as it plushed up to the point the wolf can rest his muzzle on it. Most intriguing was despite having the time of his life and having a stomach that stretched tighter than pants on a grizzly, Swift still had some other worldly urge to continue eating. Even with a stomach five times bigger than when he began.

Reveling in his gluttonous grandeur, the wolf polished off what remained of his chips, meat, and soda, brushed them off his belly and bosom, and squeezed at his massive bulk. "Oh, this is incredible," he groaned, "Never have I dreamed of getting so large. I should've came here ages ago."

Giving his belly another hearty smack, his eyes began to doze off into an over gorged slumber, the mounds of food soothingly squelching their gluttonous lullaby. His limbs grew limp, slipping off his swell and resting beside him. His eyes grew heavy, immersing his world into darkness. Then, his head rested atop of his plump, cushiony bosom, until finally, he was submerged in a realm of sleep.

Or so he would've, if his stomach hadn't released a monstrous gurgle which snapped him out of his dazed state. Grinning and stroking his paw across soft jello like fur, he released a yawn. "You're right, we can't rest here. Certainly can't have these men chop me up and sell me to people." The idea of a Swift sandwich oddly caused him to lick his lips, but if anything would be eaten, I'd be what Swift would find on the way back home. Rolling left and right to gather momentum, his belly sloshed in undulating motions; the mass of food churning and giving a bit of an inner belly massage. With one final roll, Swift was on his stomach, his forepaws in front of him and his back legs risen off the ground. Lifted by his immense swell.

"Oh great," he groaned, this'll be a pain."

It surely was with his first drag, but pretty soon the momentum his belly provided made crawling easier. Still though, it was quite the long ways from here to home, and he'd have to deal with his stomach's constant tirade along the way; smacking it to quiet it down an occasion. "Whoever knew crawling home had to be so loud."

Crawling through alleyways and finding empty avenues where humans wouldn't notice him, the wolf made it to the edge of the city. Though it was a different route he entered from, he could see the road he took and the forest off in the distance. The only things hindering his progress of course was food. Trash cans he hadn't searched yet were quite frequent. So  much he probably ate back the calories he burned off to his knowledge. Then, he suddenly spotted the unbelievable. Taking a break from his grunting and pulling, he froze where he lye, shockingly looking at a feast truly made for an alpha wolf like himself. It was a park like area, filled with trees, benches and gazebos to provide shade. But what attracted his eyes the most where the fold up tables set up in rows and on top of them obviously enough plates and bowls of food all set up for a party or celebration it seemed. Perhaps a birthday for multiple people, as there were three separate cakes. Stomach gurgling, Swift let out a whine. It seemed this particular day was formulated to specifically fatten him up. Still though, he thanked his lucky stars, and whether he wanted to or not, moved in for his third (and hopefully final) feast that day.

Pulling himself up to the table, he sat on his haunches; his waist and enlarged rump granting him some stability. Reluctantly licking his chops, he pulled toward him a bowl of mashed potatoes and chicken sandwiches. Removing the plastic wrappings around them, he stuffed his face into the mashed potato bowl; licking up the soft buttery mash in globs. Pushing it aside he then picked up the chicken sandwich bowl. Opening his maw wide, he dipped the bowl toward him. A waterfall of bread, meat, and mayonnaise showered down his throat, quickly adding to his bulk. Smacking his rotund form as he tossed it aside, he moved towards other feats of gluttony. Opening a cooler, the wolf chowed down on the couple buckets of ice cream he found. Then sloshing as he shivered, he warmed up by swallowing a puddle of hot nacho cheese as well as eating the chips. Skipping the salads he found, he tore through hot wings, shoveled pizza and lasagna, munched on ribs, partook of sandwiches, sampled tacos, and glutted to his estimate his original weight in beverages. Teetering on his hind paws with every slight movement, his globe like belly erupted in a tirade of squelches and glorping, as it pulled him toward his final meal; the three cakes.

Over gorged and overfed many times over, his corpulent form would make a bear suited for two hibernations look like he were on a diet. Every inch felt like it was ready to burst with the slighted poke. But the tantalizing allure of the cakes was too much to ignore. Whimpering, Swift rubbed his paws on as much of his belly as he could reach.

"Well stomach, it's been nice knowing you." Lifting the plastic coverings from the cakes, Swift took his first bite…

The forest, peaceful, calm, and quiet. The serine atmosphere and bird song made the perfect environment for someone to relax. That is, until the thunderous rumblings of what sounded like water being thrashed about in a barrel echoed through the trees. The birds singing fluttered off in fear. The sleeping squirrels and chipmunks were shaken into wakefulness. Even the majestic wolf wasn't spared from this pestering earthquake of running water. Which rather annoyed the female wolf Redpetal, who had yet to receive her proper hours of beauty sleep.

"What on earth is that racket," she growled, grumpy as it was early in the morning. "When I find the beast responsible I'll teach them a thing or-."

"Hello there dear."

Halting in front of her den, the she wolf stood in shock at the return of her mate. "S-S-Swift! What happened to you?"

Grinning sloppily through dazed eyes, the wolf pulled himself over a stone step and into his den. "The city happened my dearest Redpetal, and it is amazing."

"The city-what? You mean I slept worried sick for you all night because you went to the city doing...this…to yourself?"

"Oh come on," Swift laboriously rolled onto his back, resting against the cave wall, smacking his blimp of a blubbery body with the utmost excitement. "You can't tell me you're not impressed."

Admittedly, Redpetal couldn't take her eyes off her mate's marvelous belly, which was probably large enough to make a second home out of. Not to mention her mate was large enough to possibly use a truck bed as a comfy armchair. Walking up to him and leaning against his body, her paws sunk deeply into his white tub of fat; the food he first ate long digested.

"Still," Redpetal spoke, "You could've at least told me you were going instead of me waiting here worrying."

"Well, I'm here now and that's what matters."

Pulling his mate closer to him, Swift kissed her on the nose without warning. Blushing, she quickly retracted from his grasp. Pausing as she continued viewing her mate, she eventually leapt onto his large-plush bosom, and moved into the center of his belly; each step feeling like she was traversing deep snow during the winter as he paws sunk in. Snuggling into his stomach like a nest, she closed her eyes. "Tell it to shut up. I'd like what's left of my beauty sleep."

"Will do," Swift smacked his blubbery mass, causing it to slosh uncontrollably. But as it died down, all that was left were soft burbles and squelches. As the two wolves slept, both enjoyed Swift's incredible new weight in their own way. Though all good things had to come to an end, Swift looked forward to his next visit to the city already. Perhaps his mate could come along. One thing is for certain though. They're going to need a whole lot of cake now that he's tasted heaven.

Request for Swift-MockingJay over on DA :), about her OC Swift. XD Man , 9 pages long. Seriously, when I write requests for people I like, I WRITE for peeps I like. It should be just a request XD, but something in me just goes with the flow, and next thing you know, 9 or 10 pages ;).

In his search for a hearty meal, Swift the Wolf ventures to a place he hasn't ventured before; the city. Where he puts new meaning to the term, "Wolfing down,"
