Wow, that stick figure was hard to draw... waaait a minute....
I think it is well past time I retired my old computer mouse in favor of a Wacom tablet, as represented by the clockwork mouse pictured here being saluted by a... stick figure... in a funny beret... I think he's a mime artist... with a giant Wacom pen strapped to his back with... what kinda look like rubber bands... and a paintbrush in his rubber band holster... I tried to make the mimes speech bubbles look like something a mime would say... and some sort of silent movie motif or... something. Oh, shutup, it's art, I can draw whatever. XP
While scribbling aimlessly, after drooling over shiny pictures (and videos. Ahh, youtube...!) of Wacom tablets, I doodled up this stick figure mime (the first I've drawn in a very long time, in fact)... then, the rest just sort of... happened, all by itself, while listening to 8-bit chiptunes, Robot Rock and other Daft Punk songs/videos on youtube, the Tron Legacy soundtrack, the Nightwish album Imaginaerum, and random episodes of The Clone Wars, Futurama, and the 1960s Astroboy... and possibly other stuff.
This was fun to draw, even with an outdated mouse (it's not even optical!), but I just don't think it's gonna cut it for much longer. I shall be opening commissions shortly in order to save up money for a nice shiny new Wacom tablet... just not right now, 'cause it's 12:30 am here, pretty cold, and I need sleep. Blah.
Please, enjoy this rather spontaneous homage to my old ball mouse... among other things. XP
