I referenced the pose of the Charizard from this image: http://goo.gl/M8Cl8i Which was found via a Google Image Search for Charizard so I could reference it's proportions. I found the perfect pose, too, so I based mine on that and drew it. It was on a Smash Brothers Brawl Wiki site, so I assumed it was official art.
Not long after I put it up, I started recieving reports from people claiming I'd stolen the artwork from another artist, one Natsuakai. Utterly confused, I went to look at the artist's profile, only to find that they are the original artist of the original piece of artwork I referenced. Here's the full sized piece: http://natsuakai.deviantart.com/art/006-Charizard-3303...
As you can see, the lineart isn't the same, and while the pose is close, it's obviously not a trace. I usually try very hard never to reference from another person's artwork for this exact reason, but since the image I found was so small and on a wikipedia site, I assumed it was official artwork. I just wanted to clear this up.
Tygerwolfe IS my trainer name, therefore it only seemed appropriate. Satiran is, in all honesty, still a Charmander in Pokemon Go - however, it's also the name I've used for every Charmander I've had since Red/Blue. So he's also been a Charizard at least five separate times.
