You know, I think one of the cooler things here is his clothing. It's particularly well carried off, and looks reasonably practical for the character. I'd imagine that putting pants on with a tail like that could be rather interesting!
No matter how much insulation a character has or how well adapted to their environment, they're ALWAYS going to want pockets. :)
