Sorry if this is long, but I seem to be full of words concerning this little drawing of mine.
This is what I was drawing at the turn of the year. Specifically Raegal's left foot (facing him) and only now have I finished it... 9 days later. I need to get stuff done faster! Oh well. I'm working on it.
Now the piece itself. If you look closely, you will see a little hair sticking out of Raegal's tail and entering Damien's head. What's that doing there? Simple. Raegal is experimenting with his knowledge of biology and how animal brains work. He is doing this simply because he happens to be aware of Damien's feelings for Volette, and is also aware of how shy Damien is. Thus Raegal has taken it upon himself to take over the motor control functions of Damien's brain using several tiny signal disruptors created from a few hairs on his tail splitting. These disruptors attach themselves to various parts of the brain and interrupt the brain's signals for movement, and over-write them with commands input by Raegal. This has about a 63% chance of working without side-effects, as Raegal doesn't do this often. Should he fail, it would result in Damien losing all control of his bodily functions... and more or less leaving a very big mess to clean up alongside the pieces of Damien's broken pride. Luckily Raegal has succeeded, as you can see here :3 Better yet, Volette doesn't appear to be displeased about this sudden sign of affection from Damien. Pini is simply amused.
Raegal's totally the Looooove doctor... no wait... that's over-done. Screw that. He's the.. umm.... I KNOW! Raegal's the Loooove Anesthesiologist! That sounds much more awesomer.
By the way, they are all currently sitting in a blizzard... yeah... that's why there's no background <.<
