Monster magnet Boo seems to have run afoul of yet another wayward creature, the Huntsman. Fortunately this particular critter has a fondness for other peoples trinkets, not flesh. Unfortunately it also likes to bottle up their souls in it's own little pocket-universe/nearest convenient parallel-dimension. Fortunately for the monster, Boo is a caretaker of wayward creatures. Unfortunately, the little trinket the Huntsman tore off is tethered to Boo's protector who currently resides in the aforementioned nearest convenient parallel-dimension. With one caveat...he doesn't have to stay there. Things are going to get real complicated real quick.
This one originally started out as porn (shocking, right?). Not that it isn't obvious from the pose...but as I worked we talked about it an Lil'Shock felt better about it not being porn, maybe porn later? Felt it suited the spirt of the character more. Which is good, because I went all cross-hatchy ink-noodly scratchboard-ey nuts on it like I used to waaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day...and I think it came out a lot better because of it! Manga Studio really shined on this one, found a brush I like that had been created by an artist named Frenden (seriously, guy has a lot of great brushes for sale: http://frenden.myshopify.com/ ). The background structure was traced from a screenshot from in the game. This was Lil'Shock's Bday pic for this year, and The Huntsman belongs to ShadowShifters. Maker of Huntsman: The Orphanage (because apparently orphans don’t already have enough problems to deal with).
