Florida's frogs might change that. If they're not inanimate rocks on the sidewalk, then they're super-teensy and dumb as dirt about where they'll hop.

On the other hand our roaches are the size of chihuahuas.

Understating the size of our roaches, aren't you?  I think while I was working at Islands of Adventure (another park within Universal Studios Orlando), I think I saw one roach storm over the entrance before dragging off two or three screaming, crying children.  Also ended up accidentally punching one while doing a short tour for a couple of new hires, but I think that one might've been a palmetto bug, rather than a roach.  I think I hurt my hand more than that monster flyer.

I had a huge frog (or was it a toad?) who came to my cats' water dish every night. The cats would start crying meowing and when I came out to see what was all the fuss about... there was that big fat thing laying on their water dish.

"Fun" fact: there's a breed of frog called the Hairy Frog or Horror Frog that breaks it's bones when threatened to make makeshift claws when needed.

Yup yup, thought it's other nickname is less horrifying, the "Wolverine Frog" lol classic apparently, not the adamantium variety.

To quote Applejack from an episode of Rainbow Dash Presents: Helpin', ya ain't!

lol Well it seemed fitting, given the subject matter.

On weird coincidence note, visiting family and outside their window ten or so feet off the ground, two frogs just chilling and stuck to the window like it's as normal as can be. Very odd.

Oh, understood, just that quote came back to mind because that was a pretty funny episode.  Of course, it helps to be a brony before really getting into it, though the series pretty much takes every character's personality and, well, slants it just enough to make it just that much more hilarious.  XD

The frogs are there.  Waiting for you... in the testing chamber.
