How I claimed Amy Rose

Amy hugged me for a while. She seemed to enjoy my company quite a bit...
"So warm" She whispered into my chest.
"Why... Do you keep saying that?"
"Because it's always nice to have a warm hug ^ ^," Amy said, looking up at me.
"Yea, I bet." I said. My face was still hot.
"And.... Your heart is racing Shadow. You okay?"
"Y-yea... It's just.... I didn't expect that. And, well, I don't know why else my chest is doing that." I said as I sweat a bit.
Amy only giggled and said, "Because you're nervous. Good God Shadow, Blaze was right..... You really don't understand a lot about yourself, huh."
"Well, honestly... The only thing I knew that I had to do was eat, sleep, and fight. That's all I ever cared for really. Not much else...."
"Oh c'mon! That's NO way to live! Don't you have any hobbies?" She said looking up at me again.
"What's a hobby?"
Amy paused for a long time with a dumbstruck look on her face, and then finally said, "Okay... That's it! You, are coming with me.", She then grabbed my hand and pulled me along the street. I didn't know what to do, other than follow her like a dumb puppy.
We walked along an unfamiliar street. I looked around and asked, "W-where are we going?"
"We are going somewhere very nice that you might enjoy!" She said happily.
I noticed a lot of people staring at us. I'm not sure what's weirder, the fact that Amy is dragging me along, or the fact that I've gone past my normal route.
I started getting nervous as we went into the more populated portion of the city. I hate crowds. Mainly due to the fact that most people are quite uncomfortable in my presence. It doesn't help that I'm 6' 2", have black and red fur, with red eyes and getting lead on by a pink hedgehog. I stay in the lesser populated areas so that I don't have to deal with scrutiny and other such bullshit.
"We're here!" Amy said as we stood in a large area. It was filled with shops and had a food court as well. And, too many people....
"Where is.... Here?" I said as I nervously looked around.
"What, you never seen a mall before?"
"There's a lot of people here...." I said nervously as a lot of people were staring at me as they passed by.
"Well, yea, that's the point?" Amy said as she smiled at me.
"Everyone is staring at me."
"Well, maybe because you're super tall and handsome! ^ ^"
I looked at her and my face heated up, and I said, "Wait.... What?"
"I mean come on! Take a look at whose staring at you Shadow!"
I looked around at the people that were looking at me, and she had a point. There were a lot of girls looking at me, and making weird looks, waving at me, and even blowing kisses. I awkwardly waved back at them and looked back at Amy and said, "Okay, I think that's enough time at the mall, lets get going, I, need to... Take my pills...."
Amy sighed heavily and said, "Shadow... You aren't going to get anywhere if you keep secluding yourself and just running away any time you're uncomfortable. You have to face it head on and only then will you become comfortable with everything and not have this weird reaction to normal situations! I can understand if you have Agoraphobia or Ochlophobia, but in all seriousness, you keep calling yourself the 'Ultimate Life Form'... But I kinda find that hard to believe if you're afraid of a little attention!"
I paused for a while as I thought about what she said.... For the longest time. I've just been avoiding this. And it's always been a problem.... But now... Fuck, it, all.
"Alright.... I'll stay."
Amy squealed happily and hugged me.
Soft, and, warm.
My face heated up even more and she finally said, "Okay, now. While we're here..." She looked at me up and down, as if examining me, "We need to get you some new clothes. Yea sure the black shirt and blank pants works, but.... I think you could do better Shadow!"
"But, why? These things are cheap and I don't need anything else. Plus I need specific shirts for my back spines remember?" I said as I showed her my back.
"I know! This mall has everything for everyone! You'll find just what you need and I know where to go!" She said as she grabbed my arm and dragged me to a store. It looked interesting. I saw the displays and they looked similar to me. Interesting....
"Huh. I guess this must be it-"
Amy squealed again and pulled me inside. Thankfully it was rather quiet in there. Not too many people inside, but they still looked at me. Thankfully they were just other hedgehogs, almost the same build as me, but not as tall or muscular. Amy scanned the racks and picked out a few things and handed them to me...
"What do I do with these?" I said as I held a large pile of clothes.
"You try them on and see what you look good in!" She said as she dragged me to the back to an area with a sign that read 'dressing room' and said, "Go inside, take off your clothes and try them on! ^ ^"
"O-okay," I said as she shoved me into one of the rooms. I dropped the clothes and stripped down..... Why am I doing this? I don't need new clothes. But, they do look nice. Plus, I might as well oblige Amy since she's been so nice to me. And especially after that kiss, Damn.... So I sighed and put on the first of many outfits. We must have been there for hours. Thankfully I came across a few good ones. I found these new kind of pants that are quite nice, cargo pants. They are baggy and have a lot of pockets. Amy seemed to like them a lot. I also got a few shirts that were nice; some button down military-style shirts and some hooded shirts as well. Amy smiled and clapped every time I came out with those outfits, like I was some kind of male model or something... When it came time to leave I payed for everything. She insisted on pitching in some money since she dragged me here, but I didn't let her... I had plenty of money so there was no need for her to do that.
When we left it was already dark out and we walked to her house...
"So um.... Today was, very nice.... I'm glad you dragged me there." I nervously said to her.
Amy giggled and blushed, "Y-yea, sorry about that. But, I just felt it was necessary. I mean, no offense, but I couldn't just let you sit there and feel sorry for yourself. I had to bring you out so you could actually enjoy life. You can't live in a small bubble...."
"Y-yea...."
We paused for a while before we looked at each other. Then for whatever reason, we slowly moved towards each other. Our faces came closer and we both closed our eyes, and we kissed... She held my shoulders, and for some reason, I reached down and held her waist. She moaned slightly as she kissed me deeply and hugged me tightly. So soft.....
We eventually broke the kiss and she smiled at me with blush filling her cheeks. My face felt so hot again. She giggled and said, "You'd better get used to it Shadow. Because this kissing might no longer be a spirit of the moment thing. It might become a regular occurrence. If you want to....." she then smirked at me.
"W-what's that supposed to mean?" I said, a little confused..
She just giggled and said, "You'll see..."
She unlocked her door and went inside, saying, "Good night Shadow...." and closed the door.
Kissing me on a regular basis.... That wouldn't be so bad.....
