Chapter 4: Day out
Once they finished their, Jiggly and Nega went to find Medley whom had actually finished cleaning everything
“Whoa she cleaned everything” Nega said looking around
“Hey girls, I just finished up, sometimes I get a bit over enthusiastic about cleaning” Medley said smiling and sitting on the couch
“No kidding… so what should we do now?” Nega asked
“Well since I had already cleaned everything, and you two cleaned your dishes right?” looking at them. Jiggly and Nega looked at one another before Jiggly ran back to the kitchen to clean the dishes “good… I figured we should head out to the store and get us something for dinner; I didn’t really think to go out yesterday.” Medley explained leaning back into the couch cushion.
“Ooooh can we get some snacks then?” Nega asked with a smile
“Hmmmmm if you two can behave in the store, I’ll get you a snack, but know that what I said earlier still applies, act up and I’ll give you a bare butt spanking.” Medley said coldly looking down to Nega whom had her hands over her butt and nodding. A few minutes later, Jiggly returned and Medley told her the same thing and with that they were out to the car and off to the store. They were sitting in the back of the car just looking out the window when they saw the store. Medley took both of them out and grabbed a carriage “you two stay close to me now” she began to walk with Jiggly and Nega following close behind.
Entering the grocery store felt cool due to the low temperature it was kept at. As Medley walked so did the girls and when she stopped to either check fruit or other items they did so as well. While walking thru the rows of shelves, Jiggly and Nega saw someone they knew walking by, it was Zips
“Hey Meds what’s up? Haven’t seen you in a while” Zips smiled stopping his cart to talk with her
“Hi Zips, I’m doing pretty good, been keeping busy” Medley smiled and pointed to Jiggly and Nega.
“Hmm? They look just like Jiggly and Nega” Zips said looking at Medley.
“We are Jiggly and Nega” Jiggly said almost yelling it causing zips to jump back and be a bit bug eyed
“Whoa what happened to you two?!” He asked looking at them
“Oh a Demon coated them in some sort of goop that was laced with a spell to make them appear as children, they’ve shrunk and I’m helping them to return to normal otherwise the spell becomes permanent if they act like children too much, which now that I think about it is kind of hard when in this state they’re more prone to acting as such” Medley said thinking about it more.
“So how’s it reversed then?” Zips asked looking to Jiggly and Nega.
“Oh right I kind of forgot how to reverse it, at first, but last night after I put them to bed, I studied a few of my books to learn that in order for me to change them back I have to poor magic on them as they slumber but the magic doesn’t work right away, for each night that passes it’s as if they’ve gone through another year, their bodies will “Age” each night until they reach their actual age” Medley explained
“Wait, you knew about this and you didn’t tell us this morning?!” Nega was almost yelling
“Watch your tone with me young lady” Medley wasn’t amused about getting yelled at. Nega almost went pale and backed away a bit
“Y-yes Ma’am…” she stuttered
“Uh Medley are you sure you should be taking care of them? I mean you do have a mean streak sometimes…” Zips asked
“Yes I should, I’m the only one who knows the right incantations to reverse the spell, also are you questioning my parenting skills?” leering at him.
“N-no Meds, I’m just saying maybe ease up a bit, they are our friends after all” Zips said
“I will raise my children my way, good day zips, come on girls” Medley snapped a little and began walking away leaving a confused Zips. Jiggly and Nega followed closely behind Medley whom had taken Zips questioning as a personal attack on her parenting. The whole rest of the trip thru the store Medley was muttering to herself a bit. The girls didn’t pay it too much mind but they knew anything could set her off at this point.
As they were heading to the checkout lane, they saw the candy section “can we please get some candy?” Jiggly asked looking to Medley
“well since you two were good while we were here, I don’t see why not, but not too much otherwise you’ll spoil lunch” Medley watched as Jiggly and Nega ran over real quick and looked around to see chocolate covered peanut butter bars. They both came back with one “put it up on the counter” once everything was rung in and purchased they were off. She buckled them both back into the car and put away the groceries into the trunk. Once she was behind the wheel, she turned on the car and began to drive.
Jiggly and Nega were nibbling on their candy bars when medley pulled into the drive thru of Foxy Burgers a local fast food chain. When they rolled over the sensor the intercom activated
“Welcome to Foxy Burgers, Can I take your order?”
“I will have the Double Cheese Burger” Medley started
“Okay is that the Combo or the sandwich?”
“Combo Please with a large Soda, just one second, okay girls what do you want, burger kids meals or nugget kids meals?” they thought about it quickly and both said nuggets “and two nugget kids meals with sweat and sour”
“Okay and the drinks?”
“Small sodas” Medley answered
“Okay, your total is $12.85 at the first window” Medley drove around to the second window and paid for it before coming to the second and getting the food and was surprised to see Moink in the window
“Hey Medley” Moink smiled and waved
“You’re working Today Moink, I thought you had the day off?” Medley asked
“There was a call out and I wasn’t really doing anything. Hey listen Medley I need you to keep going the timers still counting and my boss has been on my case about drive thru times”
“Not a problem moink, later” she began to drive but pulled into a parking space before handing them their food “here you go girls, don’t make a mess now” she began to drive again heading for home and waiting to eat her burger. Jiggly and Nega began to eat their food and saw the toys in their bags. Taking them out they saw the toys were for a movie that was out in theaters. One was an action figure while the other one was this puzzle game.
“Can I see the action figure?” Jiggly asked looking at it; she had always enjoyed toys of all variety even ones that came from fast food
“You have your own why don’t you, play with that” Nega said jerking the toy away.
“Come on Nega let me see it!” stretching and reaching for it.
“I said No!” Nega held it even further out of her reach then they began to argue which was getting on Medleys nerves.
“Both of you knock it off right now! Or so help me you two won’t be able to sit down!”
“But I just wanted to see the toy!” Jiggly stated
“Nega, let her see the toy” Medley said exasperated
“But it’s mine, her whole room is filled with toys” Nega said she turned to Jiggly who was sticking her tongue out.
“You have 3 seconds to comply young lady or I will pull over and spank you right in the car. 1…” before she could even get to 2, Nega handed over the toy to Jiggly who began to look at it before handing it back to her sibling “there was that so hard? If you have any trash put it in this bag here we’re almost home” they put the trash in the bag before reaching home. She pulled into the driveway and let them out of the car. “you two run inside, I’ll bring in the groceries” she waited for the trunk to open. Both girls ran inside. Nega was still bitter about getting yelled at for the toy.
“thanx for getting me yelled at for…” Nega said sitting on the couch with a huff
“Well all you had to do was just let me see it to begin with then we wouldn’t have gotten yelled at…” Jiggly sat at the end of the couch.
“Whatever, Medley’s been taking your side ever since we got here…”
“What are you talking about, you’re the one who’s been pushing her buttons this whole time” Jiggly replied
“No she just keeps popping in from out of nowhere and I hate it!” Nega was getting riled up.
“Nega calm down you’re going to get in trouble again” Jiggly said now moving closer to her
“NO! Fuck this! I’m a grown woman, I shouldn’t have to put up with this and fuck you for not standing with me!” Nega was blowing up now, cussing loudly
“you know what, Fuck you too” Jiggly flipped her off “you have always been a pain in the ass and I’m sick of it”
“I’m sick of you acting like your better than me, you manage to snowball everyone around us when the truth is, you’re nothing but a bitch!” Nega yelled.
Jiggly was about to yell but was now backing away in fear. Turning around, Nega saw an extremely angry Medley standing behind her “I told you both not to cuss in my house…”
