Max was sent to stay with his cousin Derrick for a week where they could hang out and get to know one another more. Derrick lives in a sunny area close to the ocean so most times he's off in the water surfing, but he also likes playing video games and now that his cousin's over the two spend a lot of time doing Player vs. player. the first night max was there he was having trouble beating his cousin.
I've wanted to draw Max and Derrick for a while now and what better way to do so than to have them hang out with one another but there are a few things to address such as, originally Max would have been Derricks uncle since Derrick was the son of Simon and Mia Krakken and Mia is Max's elder sister. However i've decided to change a few things up, Mia and Simon will still be together, but Derrick won't be their son anymore, instead Derrick will now be, Mia, Frita, Max, and Zoey's Cousin who happens to be part squid, but i'm lazy so he'll still have the same last name as before, just with a different spelling XD This also means that i could make a new child for Mia and Simon, but i'll hold off. the reason i made these changes is because i goofed on a drawing about a year ago so i figured to make the goof a permanent change. the second thing i want to address is Max, Yes he is in fact suppose to have yellow spots, before i was lazy and stopped drawing them in mostly because i'm not good with remembering those kinds of detail, but i said screw it and threw them in. anyway i hope you enjoy this!
