One of the things I love best about the internet is discovering someone who's really, really into some incomprehensible yet oddly endearing fetish. There's a guy out there who likes to dress up as a TV weathergirl and have his wife fling pies at him. There's a Yahoo group overflowing with pics of Japanese girls with their eyes photoshopped out. There's a fellow on wwoec.com who draws porn in the style of '60s comic book covers featuring latex-clad rodent girls involved in such subject matter as glowing noses, furs magnetically stuck together, furs covered in toilet bowl porcelain, and noses stuck in bumholes. I love seeing someone proudly enjoying something I can't possibly comprehend, and doing it with an enthusiam that's infectious.
So, unsurprisingly, it tickled me pink to find an artist on DA, Candlegirl, who likes to draw lots of pics of her character tickling Lumiere: the candelabra from Beauty And The Beast. She drew him impressively on-model, and I got a wild hair up my ass and suddenly thought Gadget would look cute as a candle. Drawing Lumiere's body was a challenge with all those smoothly arcing lines (I had a lot of trouble with the base) and it was fun trying to make a candle-holder be recognizable as Gadget. I added brass handles for her ears and tail, her trademark rolled-up sleeves to her arms, plus etched-in markings to her body that look like her coveralls. And most importantly, I gave Gadget a great big smile, letting you know that she's enjoying this temporary transformation and will be happy to provide you with a cheerful glow wherever illumination is needed. ;)
I can't help but agree that 'endearing' is the right word - I can /recognize/ some of the kinks (some of which remind me of Naga's Den), and the enthusiasm for them, even without quite sharing them.
(Though I couldn't help but start trying to count how many times each character suffered a different 'permanent' fate... :) )

It's precisely that feeling that I love. I love it even more when the sheer enthusiasm carries me into understanding, which carries me into enjoying it myself!

Well, they ARE patterened after 60s comic book covers, which always exaggerated the stories inside! ;D
