Was a little late uploading this one. Going to have to figure out how to do these faster, or figure out how to spend more time doing comics while still working on commissions.
So rude! The weird stripey angular girl just wanted to help! So what's her dirty little secret I wonder~ I love the background elements, by the way, I'm definitely digging the whole look of this comic. <3

Who says there's a secret? :O ... ... (There's totally a secret.)
And thanks! The backgrounds take the longest, though it's hard to tell with how much I jump around (I tend to finish panels unevenly because I get bored.) XD But I think they're really important to the aesthetic of the whole thing. There is a required amount of texturing / graphical garbage that's required before my brain's no longer like "no, that's bland and empty."
I think the thin lines from the last couple of comics help the expressiveness a bit at least! Makes it look less stiff. Hopefully I'll have time to work on a page this week, since I've got a lot of commissions I don't want to get backed up, but if I have to take more time, keeping the quality up will still be worth it.

I do not know if this was intentional or not but the fact that the address is written in a hazy script really sets up the mystery. Wherever Cassandra is going...I get the feeling that it will not be an ordinary kind of place. Cassandra should really be more open to help from strangers. From the looks of things she could use all the assistance she can manage. But then again, if a stranger who appeared out of nowhere and seemed extremely curious about me and unusually eager to help...I would not be so inclined to accept. Especially if said person looked as unusual as Eddie. Anyway, something tells me that Cassandra is not going to be done with Eddie Stripesocks quite so easily. Awww...but Eddie looks so disappointed in the final panel. The dialogue really sets up their personalities right from the get go. Tell me...does Eddie take some inspiration from Abby Scuito from NCIS. The dark goth that actually has a bubbly, happy-go-lucky personality? Cassandra on the other hand is does not seem to be bubbly.
