The thing that immediately stands out about this comic is the character design. This is the first page where we get a very good look at what clearly are going to be this comic's main characters. This page is a good showcase page, that is to say a page that sets up and shows the readers the characters we are going to be traveling with. The dynamic poses are good way for us to see how these characters move, which in comics is very important. Eddie and Cassie's personalities are already easy to discern from these. The contrast in colors is also very well done. The fact that you made Eddie's eyes black already sets her up as a distinctive character. Her design overall is extremely memorable. I am already interested in her as with Cassie and her letter. This is a minor issue but the borders are also a nice touch. They help contribute to the overall atmosphere of the comic. We are definitely going to go to some dark and mysterious places on this journey. The squiggles could just as easily be smoke.
