To be honest I would let her ride. That weather looks horrid. Of course if it was me I would also have like 4 fresh parkas with me, and would tell her "If its close enough for you to get back on your own it's close enough for you to get there on your own. Yeah...I do not think that the bus driver is not going to feel particularly generous. They take fares very seriously on public transit. It is how they make their money after all. One time, I skipped the fare on one of the public trains and I got a ticket for like seventy dollars. Also, while this may sound classist, the people who drive buses for a living might be the type who spend a great deal of time ruminating on their life choices. The results tend to result in bitterness. As for the comic page itself: not one of particular note. A lot of dialogue and frankly not very productive exposition. We probably didn't need the whole page dedicated to where Cassandra is going. Also the final panel looks pretty sketchy. Then again...this is near the beginning of the comic and the art is not supposed to be up the present day standards. Art evolution is one of the most fascinating aspects of all comics be they only online comics like this one or the ones you find in the pages of the newspaper.
