I always loved how the relationship between these two was always alluded to being something more than was visible on the surface...

Hell, in my recollection of classic Disney shorts for Chip & Dale, I think you only ever see them going after a girl in one cartoon... "Two Chips and a Miss"

And in the short, "Perfect Scale" I believe, they are shown in a manner consistent with this commission, particularly once inside Donald Duck's scale housing :P

And yea, don't mind me... I'm an animation student, and I've had to analyze old cartoon shorts for school... Now I just do it for fun :3
