Well, if you don't know, there was an announcement a while back that a NEW Digimon series with the return of the original cast (well, Digidestined and Digimon but dunno if the same VAs for each will be used) as high-school students would be done in honor of the series 15th anniversary! They had only said Tai and Agumon at the time from the article a friend gave me, but seems like it'll have the rest of them as well, as I had figured/hoped. Of course, it won't be in the too near future (not until April), but I guess the artist is excited nonetheless! XD

Eh, no problem, that's assuming if he didn't know what the pic had meant. I dunno if it does take place between series 1 and 2 or not, since I don't think their age was ever specified in the Digimon Adventure 02 series. Of the older kids, at least. Or if the new Digidestined will be in it at any point, but maybe not.
As for TV, I haven't heard anything but I imagine it WOULD be, since I dunno why they would put something not on TV to begin with, if it's a series. Even if they're doing so with new seasons of the TV series based off How to Train Your Dragon, putting them on Netflix to begin with (when the others were on TV). And online, another cartoon I watched that ended recently, as a prequel to the events of the series itself, called Tenkai Knights. Though I didn't watch the prequel yet XD
I was not aware about with Digimon Fusion, as I only watched up to part of series 4, when it seemed to stop airing on the channel the series had moved to (after Tamers ended), back in my youth and didn't exactly have cable in the whole house (just my dad, as he said he could connect to the rest of the house, but never did >.<). As I recall it not being on there past some point with Ranamon and the other mega-baddies, I think. But it might've been past that, when they (or Takuya only) went home briefly... and I haven't seen any since, not even online. Even if I know Digimon Fusion is or was on a channel long after I did get regular access to cable, despite having that channel before on basic channels (I think, the last one they still aired Saturday morning cartoons on before that was ended a few months back) XD
But I didn't watch it, even after I learned of it. So not too familiar with details of Digimon I see regularly in art/porn like Gaomon, Shoutmon, Gumdramon, and so on. But hopefully, none of those will appear if those that're interested, who only watched the first few are expected to know them from past series or the games.
