A friend helping a pack of dragons commit to their plans to volunteer as reindeer this Christmas season, while two of the dragons that've already gone under the iron play-fight behind them.

The branding iron came from eBay, and the dry ice came from the grocery store, with a bottle of nail polish remover to act as coolant, all mixed together in a lunch cooler.  (They would have used a thermos, but the iron wouldn't fit; they didn't realize the airtight seal would have been a Very Bad Idea.™)

Per the contract law surrounding this all, voluntarily accepting that brand constitutes signing a binding commitment to finish the process.  It's generally regarded as kosher, among those who go in for this sort of thing, to simply drop off anyone with the brand and a pair at a bodyshoppe to finish the job.  And … that's pretty close to what's going to happen in about two days; he's going to call an automated van, they're going to pile in, and when they pile out it'll be right into a Bodyshoppe waiting room set aside extra-specially for would-be Reindeer.
