He actually gave me the sketchy base for this picture a while ago, back when it wasn't a Halloween-themed picture, and I was like "this is cute" so I turned it into this >w<

Bunny was a little confused that Ketzio was still excited to go trick-or-treating. Wasn't she just a little old for that? Probably not... maybe he was mistaken. He figured that kind of behavior stopped when one turned 12 but that's probably because that's when he stopped.
Either way, he helped her dress up and took her out to more wealthy neighborhood considering his own neighborhood was a little... not great. The night was a little boring for him -- but it made it worthwhile seeing how childishly excited Ketzio got every time she received candy. She would always rush up to him and ask: "WHAT DID I GET? IS IT GOOD?" He'll never forget that one house that decided to give her a banana and the disappointed noise she made when he told her that it wasn't a gigantic banana-shaped jawbreaker.
Bunny was confused because all of the other trick-or-treaters in their big, non-socializing traveling group were so many different ages. They had toddlers all the way up to college-students. It made him feel a little silly for not dressing up himself -- but whatever -- he'd probably feel silly if he dressed up anyways.
It was also a little funny seeing how uncomfortable all of the wealthy residents would be when they noticed Ketzio's cloudy eyes and how they would give her extra candy compared to the other pre-teens around her. Bunny told her it was because of how pretty she looked in her costume.
During their fun little session with Bunny not having to nervously check behind his back every 5 seconds for some lowlife -- he finally noticed that Ketzio was sparing no time in devouring her sweets. "While you walk, sweetie?" he asked.
"Wha?"
"Why would you eat while you walk?" he chuckled. "You're going to get a stomach ache."
"No, you don't know that." Ketzio huffed in response. "I do this all the time and I NEVER get a stomach ache -- so your stomach must just be a little weak-face". she popped another red ball candy in her mouth and smirked.
"If you say so, kitty cat." he pet her; awaiting the moment when she'd admit she was wrong.
It just so happened that the moment he was waiting for came about 15 minutes later when she started complaining about... shock of all shocks... a stomach ache.
"Can we go ... *hic* ... home...?" she slurred as she slouched over and grabbed at her tummy. "I don't feel so good..."
"Nuh uh." he mocked.
"Why nooooooot?"
"Say it."
"Say whaaaaaat?"
"Say you were wrong."
"You're such a jerk!!" she pouted. "It must be because we ate from that buffet earlier -- it's nooooooot the candy."
"Say it, sweetheart." he rolled his eyes comically. "You were wrong and I was right."
"You're a boy." she crossed her arms and faced away from him.
"I'm glad you noticed."
"No! I mean... you're a boy." she pointed at him. "Therefore you're always wrong and I'm always r--" she gripped at her stomach again in pain. "...right."
"Looks like I was right this time then." he knelt down -- giving her a chance to climb on his back so he could carry her back to his car. "Say it."
She mumbled something into his shirt.
"What was that?"
"You were not particularly not probably so maybe right."
"I'm sorry, I don't understand dumb."
Her ears perked up and she bopped him on the back of the head. "You were riiiight -- jeez!"
Bunny reached behind himself and rubbed Ketzio's back. "See? Not so hard."

Ketzio complained about her pains the entire ride back. As Bunny carried her up the stairs and the neighboring hotel sign's red light seeped in through their apartment's hallway windows, Ketzio's face almost looked a little green as she started to make slight gagging noises. She sighed.
"Never... eating... candy... again." her groans made Bunny giggle a little bit. Even if she didn't listen to him that often, it was still so fun to have her around to take care of.
She probably ate the leftover candy the next day anyways.

Seems like she's bearing a curse of her own right now.
(I can't remember the actual full chant thing. I mean, the Maiden in Black had something that was memorable and just played in the menu and was a bit more to the point. It wasn't all front-loaded and required you to get through it before you could actually look over your level up options. But now I'm just kinda ranting.)
I kinda wanna be coy about the Emerald Herald costume but 1) I can't think of anything and 2) Someone else made an allusion to dark souls, even if it was the fan-favorite "praise the sun" thing rather than actually specifying her as the Emerald Herald from DaS2.

Ah, it's fine. If you have access to a PS3 I do recommend checking out Demon's Souls, it is quite good but it is... well it's sort of a proto-Dark Souls, so it's missing some refinements present in later titles. And Crystal Lizards are going to suck. And you don't have to use ladders very often, but you will immediately hate it the few times you do. And fuck everything about the Soul Tendancy system. And the first time you encounter someone using a Scraping Spear you'll either want nothing to do with PvP ever again or you'll permanently have repair items equipped to your hotbar.
I know I'm saying a lot of bad things about it but it is a good game, I swear. :'3
But yeah, when you go to the Maiden in Black in Demon's Souls to level up, you'll go to the menu and then she starts saying her chant in the background while you're able to decide what you want to level up. "Soul of the mind, key to life's ether. Soul of the lost, withdrawn from it's vessel. Let strength be granted so the world might be mended. So the world might be mended." Unlike the Emerald Herald which does her chant before you're allowed to actually do what you want to and end up just skipping through it all the time. As a result I can't remember whatever she says very well at all.

I make that promise every year too. Every Easter, the creme eggs hit the stores. I don't even like sweets, but for some reason every time i'm at the store around Easter i find a fistful or even a bag of Cadbury Creme Eggs, and every time i'm four in and am remembering that they taste funny the second time as you keep them down. Never again i tell myself, never again.

I'm not too fond of Peeps, but my best friend is nuts for them. When i'm nursing a Cadbury hangover, she's frantically brushing her teeth and rinsing her mouth because if you eat a lot of them, they can coat your tongue and make it almost impossible to taste anything. Also my dad had this strange thing for eating chocolate bunnies with cleavers. To me, Easter is the real season for candy. Halloween was kind of ruined for me when i got into a circus peanuts eating contest. I still blame them for the fact that have to visit sleep labs at least twice a year and am on a first name basis with a neurologist.
