Since getting the DVD for my birthday, I've been on a total Over The Hedge kick. It's neat to fall in love with a movie twice! Anyway, I've been listening to the soundtrack and all of a sudden I wanted to see if I could possibly draw RJ and Hammy, considering how different they are from my usual style. I think they came out at least recognizable, which is acceptable for a first time, I think.

FYI, I sketched RJ's face pretty quickly, then realized he looked kinda alarmed. I wanted to add Hammy also, so what could Hammy be doing that would alarm RJ? Attempting to eat something he shouldn't? Aha! And what could be more easily mistaken for candy by a naive young squirrel than a golf ball? Yes, that's what that's supposed to be. I suck at drawing goddam golf balls.
