This idea came to me in the supermarket. Figuring that Hammy might not get the idea that "golf ball = not food" right away, and that squirrels can stuff things in their cheeks... Poor RJ.
Plenty of times I've watched hamsters cram shredded paper in their cheeks. Then they unloaded at their nest. Guess the hamsters liked a bed that smelled of "mouth". Don't see why squirrels wouldn't do the same.
