theres nothing WRONG with spike/rarity shipping X3 it's canon that he REALLY likes her.
I just find her shallow and while im sure in the cartoon she is just trying to do whats best by more or less ignoring his affections as a "sweet little crush" it's some what cruel in my mind X3 this comic will still be awesome X3 but Rarity really does take advantage of his affections for her =p even if she doesent trul realize it.
we all know deep down rarity is a crazy nice person though so i'll forgive her ;3

Eh, that's debatable. Sweetie Belle is closer to Spike's age and as the sister of an often overworked seamstress could probably relate to Spike when it comes to being the assistant of a busy unicorn. :V

i totally agree about the age-appropriate-rarity thing i find that justification for any relationship they may have incredibly insulting. but, unfortunately, that's what the show will do, i'm sure. rarity will tell spike he needs to look for someone his own age, and sb will conveniently show up right then and there. it was hinted at at the end of canterlot wedding when spike dances with sb in the photo-taking montage.
