today's fruits are tomorrow's seeds
~ I found this old painting from 2009 in my art folder. I really liked the colors, it had a very playful feeling to it. The original is the second image on the right. The one on the left is what I did to it today :D It felt rather strange to dive right back into something I left alone so long ago, but it was good ^^
edit 8.04.2014: Made it a bit darker and nommed into the sun a lil more. Also felt like there needed to be a lake and maybe another tree or two in the distance there. Just putting this up because I thought it was purdy :P
edit 5.27.2016: Tried out some textures this time around and it started to look more like a real painting. It's actually a lot easier to blend stuff and have 'happy accidents' with them. This is actually a nice painting to work on before bed. Really gets you into that sunset mood.
