There is a bit of a contradiction here. In the original comic Annie was the one who staid with the father who supposedly "taught her a lot of new stuff". Kinda sad to see the original concept being thrown out for the sake of drama... no offence.

This is going to break the mood too much probably, but does ANYONE else feel like the grandma was based a little off of Ruki/Rika's grandma from Digimon Tamers?

Finn sort of reminds me of my dad, back when I was much younger, when I was around 8-10. My mom and dad parted ways and he had to raise the three of us, my younger sister, myself and my older brother. I honestly do not know what kept him together, because I think trying to raise three kids on your own while going to work would certainly be hell. Anyways, please keep it up...

Wait, now I'm really confused. He couldn't raise two kids and work but he could raise one depressed kid and still work? I mean... why separate them? If the plan was that it was in their benefit to put them someplace because he couldn't devote the time he needed why not put them both with Grandma and just cut her a check?

Dad couldn't just visit? Skype call? Phone call? They'd be in a central location where he'd know they're safe and loved.
Just strikes me as horribly selfish and heartless towards his kids. Separating a brother and sister after they lost their mother and being a rather negligent father from the looks of it, if not certainly distant. These kids growing up to fuck each other is possibly the best outcome considering all the trauma he put them through.

strikes me as even more horribly selfish with the whole...i cant handle dis shit AND work...ill keep one! >:|
nonono you selfish pig...you keep both, or you get NONE!...you can visit them both and suffer an empty house, or you can have someone babysit during the day while you work.
you cannot have your cake and eat it too...that's not how having kids works...that's not how dis works! >:C

Muy buena la historia cada vez me muero por ver más, ahora lo que me pongo a pensar es que el papá morirá o le pasará algo ya que no aparece en las primeras páginas o al menos eso es lo que yo pienso x3
