Gonna say Annie is probably your cutest character, so playing her up for audience reaction is a good way to go with her.
That said, she and her bro are over-reacting a bit. I've got siblings, a lot of them and I'm the eldest. We have done some mean things to each other over the years. While pushing one of my sisters down would make me feel bad and I'd want to apologize right away, I don't think it would be an issues for very long (unless I didn't apologize, which seriously fuck you hypothetical-dick-me.)
