As for Jennie, she had just helped the kitty make cookies, she could smell the delicious aroma of imminent baked numminess, and Mirera was doing the "Patty Cake" rhyme with her, with the hand gestures and everything. Jennie was having the best time EVER.
This is the first drawing I've done in a while so I decided to put everything in it except the kitchen sink. Really. There's no sink. Well there is one, but it's off camera. Anyway, the background took forever, but I think it turned out pretty good, as I'm sure those cookies will, soon. What do you think of the cell shading? And since I can't do anything without experimenting, it seems, what do you think of the overlapping shading and shadow layers?
