This is my drawing for Wish as part of an organized art exchange. This has taken me a while, because WoW has been distracting me from drawing, and work hasn't been giving me much time either lately. Luckily I'm nowhere near actually missing the deadline. I hope you like this, Wish!
The theme was "Outdoors," and Wish wanted to be drawn either going down a slide or failing to hang from monkey bars. Well, I liked the slide idea better, especially once I got the idea of Wish going down headfirst. Extreme perspective! I constructed the slide in 3D software, but you're not seeing the 3D model here; I only used the software to move it around and decide on a good camera angle, then used the lines and colored it in myself.
This is one of those toddler slides that's really wide and not really all that steep, but once you're big enough that they're not really a challenge, these slides are great for doing extreme slide tricks, like this headfirst bellywhopper. I'm up there at the top, looking down and wondering whether Wish is gonna be OK or if she's about to get a face full of wood chips. What happens next is:
* Wish is fine * I try to follow Wish's bad example * I get a face full of wood chips
Wish character is (c) herself, used with permission (she entered the exchange after all!) Art and Jennie character are (c)
, and anybody whose character appears in it (i.e. Wish) can repost it.
