As a Christian myself, I also agree that this kind of thing tends to happen in highly religious communities. Think Salem Witch Trials. This story is amazing, I don't care if there is ever sex, I want to read this simply because it's superbly written and drawn. Absolutely amazing work!

In panel 6, is he cleaning it with spit? It was kinda my first tought as I don't think pure water has the viscosity to form a stable/any connection between the towel and the kazoo ... even for a millisecond. Thus in my mind it kinda felt like he is using something like spit or another weird cleaning product. True I am probably just nit picking, but I kinda felt I should point it out or at least just ask. That said, I think the art and art style are amazing! :) Maybe even TOO good! As in ... kazooe looks so cute, that I can't imagine her in sexual situations at this point. But I'm sure you will find a way to do it. xD Also does the father realize she is going to be a porn star? @_@ Having sex with a huge bear for thousands to see and touch themselves to? :P
Twi said she is trying to make the town's people more morally ambiguous then evil, and she is doing great in that aspect. However that doesn't mean I don't find them evil(or at least stupid!) for not helping the father to raise her, with donations or whatever. Ok, let's go with stupid!
PS. What species is the father exactly? He looks mostly like a bear, but his behind does not seem to support that theory. If it was said before, I must have missed it.:( Plus I haven't played the game myself so I don't know what he was in there ... or if he even was in it.

Ya I did realize that fluid string has formed when he is pulling the rag away. But even so, the water would never form such a thick string horizontally. So I would chose to believe it is due to some sort of cleaning product he could be using. But like old folks do .. he could always be using spit. I like the cleaning product version better then spit tho. xD Tell kit not to worry about it though. Just trying to give some constructive criticism. :) I tought/felt that he was still more devoted to god and is taking care of her because for him it's god who gave her to him to take care of, and he probably feels like he is serving god in doing so. Or I'm just confused because he is a priest and think all he does is in order to please god and/or do his bidding. xD ...and for the towns people... I would go with blindly stupid! If it was blindly faithful, they wouldn't go against the words/teachings of the priest in what is probably the only church in the area. xD Or maybe he is not as good of a priest as he is of an actual father. xD

This is a beautiful comic. Not just the artwork or the story, which are amazing, but the meaning that is behind it as well. There is too much intolerance in our world for people who are different. It is sad to say but true nonetheless. I agree with katauni. If there wasn't any sex in this at all I wouldn't care. Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to what is to come.

thank you so much ^-^ in the coming pages, i want to keep generating the feeling that life is really unfair for kazooie compared to the average child in this world. that way, when she meets banjo, we'll know why she reacts the way she does. being purposefully vague since i don't wanna give it away.
and thank you for saying that be great even if we didn't put in porn too = ) we appreciate it; but, though it may be true, if we get the porn part right too and integrate the two, making the porn feel good because you know the characters so well, well... we'll have taken a big step towards accomplishing our mission. pretty much since kit and i met, we wanted to find some middle ground between porn for the sake of porn and artsy porn. we think it's sad that that dichotomy exists in reality (as well as in people's heads) because the plot of PORN porn makes no sense while artsy porn isn't hot because you're too concentrated on feeling things in the plot to fap or shlick yourself.
let's openly admit we all love sexual pleasure and give each other some actually good, well thought out material to give it to us... that is, instead of said dichotomy that is nothing but a symptom of a needlessly restrictive taboo on discussing and sharing sexual pleasure, a taboo based on puritan ideals that were silly from their conception.

yep! there's a very long sex scene (12 pages) starting on page 22. there will also be erotic things happening on pages 16, 18, and 19. 19 will be completely composed of erotic cameos from other characters in the banjo-kazooie N64 games, but i won't be giving away which ones at this time :P and i don't get a bad idea of you. kit and i can't wait for the sex either :3

This is my first coment on this site. One of of the things I love is the well conveyed emotions. I also like the tone you set that despite the deep friendship or love we see between Banjo and Kazooie in the games, the bears and breegulls do not in any way like each other. It makes their friendship seem all the stronger.

what you said about the contrast: yeah, i think that's coming along nicely too ^-^ took me a while to learn that, if you want to make people feel anything in art, you have to show them the opposite and then destroy those expectations as hard as you can and as suddenly as you can like lighting a candle in a pitch black room. that's how you kindle the imagination.
banjo and kazooie are an amazing couple in the games because they have a real reason to be on the same team no matter what and just naturally fit together the way they stand up for one another. in the end, that strength that radiates naturally from their partnership (and, well, strength against all adversity) is what this comic is about; you'll see more as the pages go on. : )

Wow just wow this comic stirs up alot of deep emotions in me of my past. I read it and you hit this story square on the head on everything from the strong theistic theme to the pure innocence of Kazooie also don't forget this towns people with their quick judgement and cruelty making this comic so strong in the emotions and the simple expressions you three are a force to reckon with in the art/comic world i applaud you three on a spectacular job bravo.
