A New Power Arising part 2
This is the sequel to the Chosen Protector, please read all of those parts first if you haven’t already or else you won’t understand what is going on here.
It was another bright morning for Flame and Serene as the early sunlight lit their faces up. Both of them had a smile on their faces as they were still sleeping next to each other in their wedding attire. You could tell that the couple were enjoying themselves being together on their honeymoon, and that they were going to be together for the rest of their lives. As the sunlight continued to hit their faces, Flame was squinting a little bit and he opened his eyes, finally awoken from his slumber. Flame glanced at Serene and noticed that she was still asleep with a smile on her face. Flame leaned closer to his mate and kissed her on the forehead. Flame then shook Serene gently to try and wake her up. Serene slowly opened hey eyes and the first thing she saw, was Flame looking at her with a smile on his face.
“Morning dear. I am glad that you are finally awake now.” Flame said with a smile on his face.
“I am glad to see that you are finally awake as well Flame.” Serene said. Then Serene leaned closer to Flame and kissed him on the lips, it was a passionate and loving kiss. As Serene was kissing Flame, Flame said to Serene telepathically “So Serene. What would you like to do for our honeymoon today?”
Serene stopped kissing Flame and looked away from him, giving some thought about the question he had asked her. Serene looked back at Flame and said “We should go for a stroll through town today. Then later on tonight, we should have another romantic evening.”
“That sounds good to me Serene.” Flame said in an uplifting tone.
“Alright then, we should start getting ready to go then.” Serene said.
“Sure thing my love.” Flame replied. Flame and Serene got out of their bed and started to get ready for their wonderful day ahead of them.
An hour has passed as Flame and Serene were getting ready. Flame has been ready for a while now; he was still helping out Serene getting prepared for their day ahead of them. Flame and Serene were working on fixing Serene’s wedding dress to make sure it looks perfect for the day.
“Alright Flame! I think we are finally ready to go now. What do you think?” Serene asked in an excited tone while spinning on her tip-toes.
“Ah Serene...You look absolutely stunning. I am so glad that you are my wife now.” Flame said trying to be flattering.
“Aww, you are so sweet Flame.” Serene said while blushing at Flame’s comment. Serene then hugged and kissed Flame lovingly.
“Alright my love. I think we should be heading off now. We have a nice day ahead of us.” Flame said.
“Sure thing Flame.” Serene said. Flame and Serene left their house, leaving hand-in-hand. Flame and Serene were taking a nice stroll through the Guardian City. They were still wearing their wedding attire because of the many traditions the city has. Flame and Serene were being congratulated by all of the residents in the city that they met while on their stroll. Flame and Serene were smiling and waving back to the residents as well. Flame said to Serene telepathically “Hey, we should drop by the Elder’s Palace to say hello.”
“That is fine with me. Let’s start to head over there right now then.” Replied Serene telepathically. Flame and Serene walked up to a corner and turned left, heading towards the Palace.
About eight or so minutes of walking, Flame and Serene had arrived at their destination. They walked inside the Palace, but to be surprised that Blizz was right there. She greeted the young Protectors.
“Protectors! I am so glad to see that you are enjoying yourselves. What brings you here today?” Asked Blizz in a confused and excited tone.
“Well Blizz. Me and Serene wanted to see how things were going on your part before we head off again.” Flame said.
“Well then. Everything is going fine for now. Don’t worry; you will be summoned once you are needed at a certain time. Now please, go enjoy your honeymoon you two.” Blizz said.
“Thanks for the update Blizz; don’t worry, we will enjoy our honeymoon together.” Serene said with a seductive smile, she was also nudging Flame playfully. Blizz laughed at Serene’s response and gesture, then said “Well Serene, don’t be too rough with Flame.”
“Too rough?!” Flame laughed at those words. “I don’t think Serene can be too rough with me anyways.”
“We’ll just see about that Flame.” Serene said in a playfully evil way.
“We shall be off now Blizz. It was nice talking to you.” Flame said.
“Alright then, have fun!” Blizz said while waving goodbye to Flame and Serene. Flame and Serene headed off, walking farther and farther away from the Palace.
“Meanwhile, back at HQ where Fredrick, Douglas, Charles, and Armando had been training at. The four of them found this training very easy, all of them almost have mastered all of the proper techniques that are required for this mission. Currently, all of the men are working on the stealth-part of the mission. The main objective for the men to accomplish was sneaking up on the targets without being noticed. There were two robotic poke’mon, a Gardevoir and Gallade of course; they were walking around a huge training room. The robotic poke’mon had an AI built into them to react like normal poke’mon. Now Fredrick, Charles, Douglas, and Armando were all on one side of the room, waiting for the Boss’s command to begin the training.
“Okay everyone, we all knows what to do, right?” Douglas asked over his radio that was built into his helmet.
“Of course Douglas.” Charles replied.
“Anyways, let’s try not to fail here. We have to do our best!” Armando said excitingly.
“Agreed.” Fredrick replied.
“Alright troops,” The Boss said over their radio. “Now it is time to begin the training mission. Remember, this is just practice, so if you make any costly mistakes, it won’t be fatal in any way...Now, begin!”
The four Mech Suits turned invisible at an instant and after that, nothing was heard. The Boss was still able to keep track of their movements, thanks to his radar he had set up on the TV screen, where he was viewing the training mission. After a few minutes, the squad had separated into two groups of two and was surrounding the two targets. The Boss could hear all of the chatting between the groups of men coordinating with each other through his own headset he had on. Finally, the group of men decided it was time to strike...
Fredrick and Armando, both of them are on opposite sides of the target, threw one PSG grenade each. Shortly after the robotic AI’s saw the two grenades land near them, they tried to run away, but it was too late and the grenades went off. Two blue energy fields appeared at the robots and the robots were simulating disorientation after the energy fields hit them. Then, Charles and Douglas each shot ten rounds into the targets; it was enough to bring both of the robots down. Shortly after, the squad de-cloaked themselves and ran towards the targets, nets already drawn, ready to restrain and capture. Fredrick and Armando dropped their nets on the targets. The nets immediately reacted, it wrapped around its target very swiftly and tightly. Now the targets were captured, but Douglas thought to himself “Can’t the poke’mon still teleport out of the net’s grasp?” After the thought had crossed his mind, the nets were emanating a blue aura around the robots.
“I guess our mission is complete.” Charles said over his radio.
“Yes it is. Now what to do with the robots...” Fredrick said in a confused tone over his radio.
“Just leave them there.” The Boss’s voice was heard through the squad’s radio channel. “Your mission was quite the success. I think we can go through with the real thing in a matter of days now! Anyways, you all did a good job; it is time for all of you to rest now. All of you have made U.P.R.A. proud today.”
“Roger that Boss. Will do.” Fredrick said. The squad of men left the training area and went into their quarters for a good nights rest.
“Heh, heh...” The Boss laughed evilly to himself. “Soon...Soon, we will be in power soon.” The Boss said with an evil grin on his face.
It was nightfall and Flame and Serene had a romantic day, which included; Eating out at a fancy restaurant, watching a love and romance movie, and visiting with the other married couples of the city to try and teach Flame all of the traditions of being married. Now after all of this, Flame was carrying Serene in his arms walking through the city. Serene was resting her head on Flame’s chest, her eyes were closed as well and she had a smile on her face. Flame occasionally glanced at Serene, admiring her beauty while she was resting. After walking for a little bit, Serene opened her eyes and looked at Flame and said “Is there anything you want to do tonight Flame?”
“I am in no particular mood to do anything, so, I guess you can say I am open for anything tonight.” Flame said.
“Would you like to have another dance tonight?” Serene asked.
“Sure! I would love to dance with you anytime Serene.” Flame said in an excited tone.
“Cool! Alright then, let’s keep going home then.” Serene said in a hopeful tone. Flame continued to walk home with Serene in his arms.
Once the young couple had arrived home, they immediately went into their backyard and danced at least for one hour or so. Flame and Serene decided to call it a night. They went into their house, then into their bedroom. Flame and Serene were cuddling next to each other. Flame had his right arm around Serene’s body. Serene had her head resting on Flame’s chest and had her left arm wrapped around Flame’s side.
“I love you Flame.” Serene said blissfully.
“I love you as well Serene...I will never leave you. Our love is ever lasting.” Flame said sweetly while moving his arm to get Serene even closer to him.
Serene released a blissful sigh and said “Flame, I am so glad you are good with words.” Serene adjusted her head again to feel more comfortable sleeping next to Flame. Shortly after, the lovers fell asleep next to each other. They both knew they had many more nights together to be with each other...
