Quick bloom effect (read description)

Quick Bloom  tutorial
set default image size: small | medium | wide
by bbmbbf
Sometimes is all about little tricks, this is one of the tricks i use for making a image look more amazing without much effort... it works better on scenes that represent daylight... sunny days scenes..  ( there's other way to do things like this but i think this is the faster and perhaps with good results)

You should apply this only after finish the image coloration, is like the last process before posting, even it must be resized already before...  applying this shouldn't take you half minute.. seriously... on my next post i'll do a little tutorial ...in advance you will excuse my poor english skills

Note : i know, for some people the normal image will look better ...but not for me, is up to the image

some images on my gallery with that effect:

I want to know how did you do that, I've always wondered how it happens D: Is it possible to do with Paint Tool Sai or Photoshop Elements 6.0?

Duplicate the image,
reduce the opacity,
and blur it a bit.

The trick also works well for sketches.
It makes a sketch's rough look seem deliberate.

Normal one looks better imo.

Bottom one looks too blurry and hurts my eyes.
