A lot of those actually look pretty normal. I happened to luck out. The stray Persian who took up at my house looks adorable. But he may be a mixture of some kind. He's also got social anxiety issues, just like me! I sometimes wish I could hide under the couch, too :(

Reading that reminds me of that Japanese urban legend called 'Kuchisake-onna' (The Slit Mouth Woman). A story about a woman wandering around at night with a surgical mask on. Appoaches people asking, 'Am I pretty?' If they say yes she will remove the mask and show her horrific disfigured mouth that had been cat from ear to ear. She will then screech (or scream), 'AM I PRETTY NOW!?' If the person freaks out, says no or anything she will stab them. If they escape she will turn up at their house and kill them. If they say yes she cuts their mouth from ear to ear like hers. I love that urban legend.
