A bigot could mean many things. For instance this is what Google shows as the definition of a bigot "A bigot is a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices". So potentially I am a bigot because I am intolerantly devoted to my opinion that freedom of expression should be truly free. I actually get very angry with censorship especially if it's an artist forced to censor himself. So in a way I am a bigot too. Just not the kind you hate.

I'm not going to shed a tear for FA, honestly. But my complaint with AlertPay is that they looked over and approved the content of both Inkbunny and SoFurry, cub porn and all, and yet decided to drop both sites without warning, just as they did with FA. In fact, SoFurry claims they were given no reason at all for AlertPay dropping them.

To me, it's a scummy move to tell a site owner that you approve of their content, only to later freeze their account because there's something wrong with the content you had already approved months earlier.

I don't think this is going to do you a lot of good. AlertPay dropped FurAffinity not out of malice, but because they wanted to comply with Canadian law, which has effectively made cub art illegal. It's an amazingly asinine law (and counterproductive, if recent studies are any indication), but it's prosecutable, and AlertPay didn't want to run the risk of being charged with it. Your grievances should be with the Canadian government.

That may be true, but they should have let FA take the money before pulling their support. And I don't know how much money they took from InkBunny and SoFurry.

Yeah, that seems just slightly sleazy, unless they're holding it for evidence. Is there any indication that they'll give the money back once cub art is purged from FA?

They have to give it back eventually, regardless of what FA does. Just taking money and not giving it back is called theft, and tends to get you sued (unless you're the government, in which case it's called taxes ;-).

Paypal will take money without notice or just cause too. They did that to me (ongoing Ebay dispute), but I had withdrawn the funds beforehand. These cases make it hard to trust online payment processors.

Anyways, this is a cute picture!

Well, that was kinda the idea. This is not really meant to be taken seriously. If we were serious about this, we'd be using Anonymous' hack attack software and attack AP (which I am not condoning, BTW).

But at the same time, we are angry about this.

Why not telling the truth? AP is against cup porn but if you draw a cub wearing a Nazi uniform on a pile of dead jews or a pic of a cub being cut in slices (but wearing pants and clothes) that would be okay for AP ...

Exactly. A cub with a yellow and brown leaking diaper, decapitating another furry with a samauri sword, and holding onto a lit crack pipe is perfectly acceptable. But the instant his diaper falls off and his little peepee is shown, it becomes wrong?! I highly disagree.

Oh well, no matter. The message is the same regardless of who's in it! This whole AP thing is really bogus in my opinion and FA's just making excuses.

Sure, Dragoneer may have tried to prevent this, but unless he says himself that he's working on a solution to this, I just don't have much faith in his abilities. And he didn't say anything to imply that last time I spoke to him. =/

The world is so twisted these days its not even funny. People think that cub porn is bad? I've dove deep into the sexual genres of the furry community, and have found stuff that would make serial killers cringe; and would be right at home in one of Steven King's novels or on a slot of "Tales From the Crypt". A cub being fucked by an adult fur like a bus driver is bad? Try a fur being fucked by tentacles that leak highly corrosive acid while the demon hell-spawn they're attached to is disemboweling his guts, tearing off his flesh, and slowly eating him! (Yeah, I've seen that) These nightmarish images pass by those jerk-wad censors like AB just fine, but they blow the whistle whenever a cub is shown naked with a little boner. Is that fucked up or what?!
