It's a great image overall. I really like the evil teddy bear. If you don't want to read some constructive criticism, stop here. The only lighting issue I can see is the cub being too bright. HOWEVER, it makes the piece a bit better when you can SEE the subject, so -Shrug.-

I really hope they do well as its a Norwegian game company and our game industries have been rather poor, Funcom did make some good stuff but its gone down hill lately for them so hope this game will carry the torch and open up some doors for other company's here :)

For me this is probably the most exciting project I've seen in a while. I've been observing this since months. It pushes all my buttons perfectly. I've been whining about more children as protagonists in mature-themed games, and even more so horrors for a long while, they fit the theme perfectly. It reminds me of Amnesia, McGee's Alice, and yet even better. Dreamy, creepy. lovely. yes I know I'm not the best (you can tell from my gallery) but I've found what helps me, at least in digital drawing, and has been suggested by a few others. Is the use of layers. Specifically using a layer set to 'overlay' mode. Pick a dark color, and fill the entire layer with said color (black is ok..but I prefer to use a dark color for lighting). Now you draw on overlay mode with white, or something to lighten it up.
You can also do it with normal mode for the layer..but I've found overlay really helps for some odd reason.
