*hugs* Hey, it's alright. I had to move that last time. Either that or have a mental breakdown. I calmed down a lot after I got here. Only thing now of course is that I'm alone, and that can wear on anybody over time. This was a good temporary solution though. Now I just need something more permanent. I've been underweight my whole life and never deal with the cold too well. Only in short periods :D but not for 9+ months XD. I'll get outta here, I have to, that's all there is to it.

Your song selection gives me a great nostalgia bomb of when I was given that AFoS album on cassette when it was their latest release. I got it for Christmas, which we spent with some family friends in their big vacation home...up in the mountains...in the snow. I remember listening to this song, esp. riding along in the back seat and looking out the window of their big van, seeing all the snow and pines and the numerous empty and cold vacation homes along the roads. The imagery will always be fresh in my mind. This issue is such a terrible burden on you, Looq, clearly. Here's prayer that you can resolve your misery posthaste.

Wow, that's a pretty cool memory. I was just a kid in the 80s, so I missed a lot of the current music. I did like the Monkees a lot though ^^; and oldies tunes, still do! Empty vacation homes...hehe...you mean empty snow bird homes. I bet there's a lot of people here that high tail it south in October or November.

A lot of the homes that are empty in winter in the mountains nearby are used not by snowbirds, but by more-local families during the heat of the summer, when the temps are noticeably cooler and the roads much more passable. This is esp. true for older folks, who have no use for snow and bone-chilling cold but still like to get into the "cool pines" come summertime.
