May as damn well upload these now and get them over with. q:

Part 1 of an 8-part comic. This art... is actually complete for the most part: just need to color it and add the lettering. But there's no real sense in doing that if I'm not going to finish the rest of it.

Tasli and Mubba find a robot rusting away in the woods, half-sunk into the ground. Tasli has plans for it so the two dig it up.

In Jesus's name, I really don't even remember what the characters were saying--I didn't write it down. q:

The robot is a DRIM from Ed Emberley's Big Purple Drawing Book. I had that book as a child, and drew most everything in it (many, many times). :3

Pencil...

A rare instance of me featuring a mechanical pencil. This one is an AutoPoint with an ad for Rust-Oleum. It seemed appropriate. :3

I kinda dig the black & white look without dialogue (as much as I enjoy the dialogue you do write <3), gives it the feeling of a silent movie

That is a COOL pencil especially for a mechanical!
I think I might have one like that around somewhere (don't ask where though it's...somewhere!) :)

Also I'm sure I've said it before but I LOVE how expressive your
characters are, you get better emotion from them than a lot of
more polished cartoons I've seen. Really wish you had time to
draw and write more. :)

They're just newspaper-strip characters, really (though I appreciate the thought, lol).

I've amassed a few more mechanicals, though I still prefer wood.

I hear that. I too prefer wood, especially the untreated ones ( as I'm sure I told you looong ago :) __).
That said I like the convenience of mechanicals just cause I don't have to keep sharpening them
and I can keep a good consistent line. But that's just me.

At any point, and you might have talked about this, did you ever consider submitting
your cartoons to a syndicate for publication?

I have two 'new' untreated ones: an ad pencil for Old Navy Kids and a "Genuine Incense Cedar" pencil from some company called 'Appointed'.

Nope; I wouldn't have a chance and couldn't make art for it anyway.

"It's important our robot have the correct programming."

"Programming?"

"I recorded some." *Click!* "How may I ease your life, oh grand, exalted mater?"
