---FINAL FIVE---
no.4 - "A self appointed king with bird-like qualities."
TRICK: Donquixote Doflamingo - One Piece
TREAT: King Dedede - Kirby (series)
I swear if I had a nickel for every villain who is a bird-like self appointed monarch I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice!
An unintentional running theme I seem to have with the top contenders of my Halloween Countdowns are characters that get top billing only because I've somehow avoided adding them for far too long. Characters who, in of their own right probably don't deserve high placement, but after years of denial have earned a spot among the top dogs even if I have to force them in last second. Which is true of our entries today.
Two characters who don't deserve anything they've accrued, but got it anyway -- One an callous, self-important tyrant who takes what he wants without the care of his own people who are slowly dying under his rule...and Doflamingo! (I kid) While these two are certainly not created equally, the point still stands. Sometimes in this world if you want something you simply have to put on a crown and say you're king and threaten intense bodily harm to anyone who disagrees until they accept you and that applies whether you're a sadistic nepo baby or a big, dumb, fat penguin!
