It was over for the fish, he was just too far from water. He didn't have the strength to pull himself any more, and could barely even gasp at the air for what that was worth. His vision began to fade, and he accepted his fate... Then felt a pleasant coolness. While he was incredibly dizzy, he managed to look up, seeing that someone was pouring water from a watering can on him! It was getting into his gills, finally giving him oxygen again, and he opened his mouth to try to catch more. He was gradually recovering at last, and after some time, the person that'd given him water picked him up to deposit him in a nearby stream. The fish was safe again! And would certainly be more careful in the future, he'd gotten INCREDIBLY lucky.
That's that for Fish Week! I know it was a lot different from what I usually draw, but I hope you folks enjoyed. I've got a handful of unrelated things to post over the next few days, but then that'll finally be it for a while.
