The shores have always gotten this fish curious - what could be out there? It was rare he even went anywhere near the surface at all, but tonight he was feeling confident enough to at least have a look around. So, storing as much water in himself as he could and shutting his gills, he started trying to walk onto the land. It was tough, his legs weren't built to support his full weight and his vision was blurry since his eyes weren't used to air, but it was pretty interesting. He made sure to take every opportunity he could to prop himself up, knowing he'd likely end up exhausted otherwise, and soon he was going to be leaving the water entirely for the first time. It likely wasn't going to be his last, as well!
