"Nearly out of time"
Drowned and barely conscious, Blubby's watery grunts and gurgles were clearly audibly to Conduit as the fish continued to do his best to bring the dragon to the annoyingly-distant surface. For a while now he'd been using his electricity to help keep them awake, but it wasn't going to work forever, and Blubby was already limp in his hold, their body a deeper blue than normal. "Just a little longer, Blubby, stay awake!" The dragon could only gurgle a little in response to Conduit. The two would make it in time, they had to... And even though his body couldn't take air well, Conduit wouldn't hesitate to do CPR if he had to.
How exactly did they get into this situation though? We'll be finding out on the 26th.
