The small mouse that approached my picnic blanket was so docile, and looked timid, but there was a bravery that shone in those eyes too that I couldn't help but admire. I could tell she had been through a lot, and decided to give her a bit of food and comfort, allowing her to rest safely as we enjoyed eachother's company before it was time for her to be back on her way.

Mrs. Brisby is so cute. I've always had a fondness for her since I was a kid, and is a character I truly wish I drew more lol. Like all Don Bluth animations, it's just so amazing how much care went into them, and I'm always in awe as I go frame by frame.

To be honest I'm surprised that there isn't very many Secret of NIMH fanart that shows Mrs. Brisby at a peaceful state of mind just doing something casual outside of the film's storyline.
