Meta Knight woke to the sound of whimpering. As he feared, Magolor was having another night terror, a common occurrence after he returned from another dimension. The alien had been banished there after Kirby and his friends defeated him in battle, his selfish quest for power having led him to betray the group and take the Master Crown for himself.
However, Magolor soon realized that the relic contained too much power for him to handle, twisting and warping his soul as it gained control over him. Upon his defeat, he'd lost much of his magic abilities and traversed the far reaches of space to reclaim them, all the while carrying crushing guilt over his actions.
After destroying the Master Crown and atoning for his crimes, Magolor returned to Dream Land to start a new life with the lessons he'd learned, but it was far from easy. While Kirby forgave him, the others still held animosity towards the alien for his treachery-not that he could blame them, but their looks of disdain cut him deep and reminded him of the dark path he blindly followed. With time and effort, however, they eventually came to accept that Magolor had repented and wished to better himself, and gave him the second chance he fought his way through space's Hell for.
Having received their forgiveness, Magolor thought the worst was finally over, but he was wrong. He started having panic attacks and night terrors as he remembered his treacherous actions, gradually becoming more frequent. It got to the point where he always needed his friends around for emotional support, and to sleep with him when the nightmares struck. Kirby and the others took turns staying with Magolor, offering him their comfort as he tried to move past the painful memories.
However, as he spent more time with the distraught alien, Meta Knight found that he was developing a genuine fondness for him. Unlike most enemies Kirby had defeated in the past, Magolor actually learned his lesson and strived to become better, and despite not forgiving him initially, the knight greatly respected him for that. And now, seeing him in such a vulnerable state, Meta Knight felt a strong need to comfort Magolor through the visions of his dark past, and help him embrace his well-earned brighter future.
Magolor woke up with a small yell, and Meta Knight quickly wrapped his arms around him, stroking his pure black fur and ear-like protrusions as he took deep, ragged breaths. The alien held tightly onto the knight as he started to cry, the breaking of his once chipper voice causing Meta Knight pain.
"I'm...I'm sorry, M-Meta Knight..." Magolor choked out. "I'm sorry...for what I did...for being so weak...I-"
Taking the alien by surprise, Meta Knight kissed the top of his head, silencing him. "You are not weak, Magolor." the knight said, his usual stoic baritone now much softer and gentler. "You are traumatized and regretful of your actions. Reminders of the crimes you committed will linger indefinitely, but remember that we are all here to help you make peace with them."
Meta Knight took Magolor's face in his hands and looked him sincerely in the eye. "I may have been unforgiving towards you initially, but let me show you how much you have come to mean to me."
Magolor's teary eyes widened as Meta Knight moved in and kissed him. He was speechless when the knight pulled away, looking at him in stunned silence. "Meta Knight..." the alien began, only for nothing else to follow.
But finally, Magolor's eyes fell half-shut as he returned Meta Knight's affections, pulling him back in to kiss him more. After he betrayed Kirby and his friends, it felt like a miracle when they forgave him. He never thought any of them would fall in love with him, even after his redemption. They were all his lifelines during his darkest moments, but now, Meta Knight had become his true savior, and the alien welcomed the love he gave him when he desperately needed it.
Meta Knight rolled on top of Magolor, their affection turning to lust as they cradled and caressed each other. "You've suffered enough, Magolor." Meta Knight said. "Allow me to show you how deep my love for you goes."
The alien nodded in compliance. "Claim me as your own, Meta Knight." he said, fully giving himself to his new lover.
