Saints Row turns 20 years old today, and as much of a lesson in disrespecting your old fanbase as the Saints Row series is, those first two games just hit so hard. Saints 2 is still a gold-standard cornerstone of a game to me.
All of the people in this pic were like, 7 years old when the game came out. We are old. Probably my most species-diverse piece yet.
I intended to have motion blur on the Slingshot's wheels, but I did the spokes on the wrong layer and liked how they looked - welcome back, Crash 'n' Burn - so now the car is slamming on its brakes! The Vegas has floaters, though.
I'm still getting the grasp of perspective with freehand, so the cars are massively wide on the inside. Kind of like a GTA San Andreas-themed TARDIS, that. The Mac 10 is also Uzi-sized because I didn't source a photo of it in someone's hand like I did the Tec 9. X_x The Vegas is also a bit too big, I think. I probably could have put bigger rims on it either way. Shit's rookie numbers, dawg.
Also included is the original drawing of Hunter before I masked the car's pillar over her. I liked how her eyes looked.
Currently scrambling to upload this before the Coke 400 gets underway.
